I'm loving it.

I've hated Live with a passion since after Live 99 for PSX. Me loving this game and even having other people, that hated live, like the way it looks and plays is really a thumbs up for the franchise.

I'm impressed with EA's work. It isn't perfect, but the basketball experience is there and I enjoy that.

I for one am happy others are enjoying the game... I preferred espn last year but this nba live is the Best LIve EVER and the best playing nba basketball game i have ever played. Period. simply awesome. I have never had soo much fun getting beat. a few slider tweaks and i find myself deep into the game.

i haven't had this much fun ever because usually the flaw is somewhere in the gameplay that keeps me from getting into a deep franchise mode. ( with espn last year you could travel using the pump fakes and pivots and the cpu wouldn't call it. so why play a whole season). this year the on court play is the best so that is what makes any possible franchise bugs tuff to deal with because you can finally get into a franchise however nothing will keep me from enjoying the on the floor game in live 2004

Finally the gameplay to me is spot on. i don't want to sim ahead this year i want to grind out 82 games and see where the hell we stand.

The flow of the game to me is amazing, every time down court i feel like anything can happen. we have so much control that i really get pleasure out of a win and when we lose i know exactly why because the stats never lie. Last night my bulls were beat by Atlanta because i could's stop rahem in the post when we doubled down the stephen jackson ,diaw and jason terry lit us from 3 they hit 6-18 from downtown and that proved to be the difference in the game, we lost by 10 pts but both teams shot 46% fg's from the game and they only had 2 more fg attempts than we did. to many turnovers by us and their ability to hit the open 3 are the reason we lost that game...

to me that is awesome, now i have to find a way to get to reef and still rotate to the shooters. also defending the pick and roll is actually a chore this year and i love that as well. early in the game we went below the screen and terry lit us up with the jumper over the top. then when we chase the bugger gets all the way to the rim for the finish. finally i start getting physical with him and forcing him over the top of the screen staying between him and the screener and we had good success with that in the 3rd and 4th quarters.

I can't tell you how long i have waited to have to make these types of adjustments in a video game....oh so if you can't tell i also love this game. Best nba hoop game ever(gameplay wise)
