From the "Main Screen," go to "Play Now" then select a team, and then hit Circle (on PS2).

If you aren't on PS2, there should be text at the bottom of the screen.. The one you want is "Team Scouting." The appropriate button will be next to it.

            It shows:

            Fast Break / Half Court
            Outside / Inside
            Physical / Finesse
            Man to Man / Zone

            For both teams selected..

Very neat, and also very informative. It also helps me determine how I should play a game with a certain team to find success.

Also, while viewing these Team Scouting Reports you can cycle through the other teams without going back to the team select screen again.. Very neat.

            Enjoy.

this review changed my opinion of the game. i was going to get it for sure. but then i started reading posts saying how bad it was so i was going to wait till 2K4. then i read this and it changed my mind. tomorrow i'm having my mom stop at Wal-Mart/Target to get it for me. hopefully she'll get it.

                  thanks for the great review.

There's not a small contingent who enjoy the game. It's kinda large from what I can see.

The ones who like it are...too busy playing it.

The ones who "claim" to hate it so much, have alot of free time on their hands and what better to do than complain?

Another thing, you'll notice alot of "I played this game for 5 minutes and IT SUCKS!" posts. These are the same people who say that Live 2003 was too arcadey and 2K3 was the greatest game since Super Mario Bros.

Mind you, these are the same people who NEXT WEEK, will be in the ESPN forums saying how wonderful 2K4 is and how they can live with some bugs.

We all know who these OS posters are and I try my best to ignore them.

So far I have been really happy with Live 2004 for XBOX, though I must admit I'm very dissapointed this game does not support widescreen 16x9, very surprising given that we are moving into the year 2004, widescreen should be a standard in games/movies by now. I have been reading other posts and I must admit two things, I am having the slow down problems as well as many others and I find it hard to spot up and knock the jumper down in this game, the defense literally pushes your players all over the court. Though, overall I'm very happy (but, I will definitely buy ESPN 2K4) I will keep both, they are both unique in their own ways.
