for some weird reason, im loving the weird looking graphics. Not sure if its the faces or the bodies, i just like what this game is offering me so far.

I would think 99% of us would agree that ESPN has better graphics. But what really matters (to a lot of us) is the gameplay. I'll hold out ultimate judgement until I can actually play ESPN, but from what I've seen so far, Live looks to me like a better game of "real" basketball.

Honestly, I've always loved Live's graphics compared to that of the ESPN series .. It just seems too 'blocky' in the 2k series, and the animations aren't nearly as fluid. Sure, the faces may be a bit better done, but I prefer Live's graphics.

What I'm really diggin is the animations. Especially the ones after you do a lay up and your player is tryna keep his balance. Basically the one when you're stuck in a animation. Some ppl dont like it, I thinkk it looks realistic. They expect to do a lay up, miss, and be in position to get thier own rebound. But most of the time you get bumbed into that animation which I like cause it hapens in real life.

The graphis are'nt bad ethier. Well, 90% of the game you cant really see up close to the players so it does'nt bother me if they did'nt have faces. But the animations make the game flow look realistic.

A lot of NBA players get their own misses after a layup... and its very rare to see that happen here.
