    Re: Some little things...

I was playing as the Lakers and I hit like 3 jumpshots and a dunk in a row with Kobe, the next time around the crowd was yelling "KOBE KOBE KOBE" --I thought that was cool--then I missed a fadeaway and lost the game

            Re: Some little things...

One thing Ive never really been able to do very successfully in any basketball game is completly exploit the genius of the simple pick and roll. Today I played and I had iverson at the top of the key trying to set up a nice play after missing a few opportunites. I called for a pick on mcgrady and he got caught up in it as i went around the corner, i knew the defense would switch agressively but the great thing about pick and roll is someone is always free from it.

Once the defender left his man and came over i used iverson not to try and go around him but pass immediately as gooden stepped up to me, leaving the big dog right the under the hoop for a dunk. usually its only the player that scores who celebrates but iverson who made the dish did the celebrating by pumping a fist while the crowd went nuts.

            hot game, hot game

off ball player celebrates? wow, huge touch.

Since we've been talkin about chants, I've heard the beloved EA "MVP, MVP, MVP" chant. Never gets old, no matter the game.
"It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

About the slow down problem, I think it's an x box thing--b/c my friend totally hates the game and says that the slow down is really evident. I'll see him next weekend. But my game is solid.
