I think they don't have the names, but they have the arena structures. Plus EA didn't add correct banners, so the arena structures were downgraded...like the united center.
so EA only has 25 out of 28 arenas

someone here showed a blueprint of the Toyota Center and compared it to a screenshot of the arena in Live. Imo, it looked like the arena.
EA confirmed that Boston and Indiana were not going to have their real arenas. If you are gonna say that, why leave out another arena? With that in mind, I doubt the Toyota Center is a generic arena. It must be based on somethin."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

Espn has all the arenas. I don't know about all the arenas inside drive but I know that they have the houston arena.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

Re: so EA only has 25 out of 28 arenas
I haven't played Live 04, but I'm guessing they have arenas that look exactly like the real thing, only they can't use the real name. Toyota Center, Fleet Center, and Conseco Fieldhouse are all corporate names, so it's possible they weren't able to get the rights to put those names in the game.
Last year NBA 2K3 had all of the arenas. What they did for Boston's Fleet Center was name it Celtics Arena. Otherwise looking at it, it was an accurate representation of the fleet center. The only arena NBA 2K3 didn't have was the New Orleans Arena home of the Hornets. They had an arena that appeared to be the Charlotte Coliseum.Comment
