hints and tips thread

It seems like my problem with my game is making easy shots . I mean in the lane shots, 15 footers etc. I have won a couple of games on all star and get my butt kicked in superstar by the amazing 4th qr. computer makes everything bug.

My tip: When in the post, the hook shots seems effective (while back facing basket, press up on left analog and shoot.

any other tips for scoring would be helpful, and maybe will expand others game.

Easy, be the Lakers. Tnrow it in to Shaq everytime, and maybe you wouldn't have this problem??

J/K man, I'm not to great of a shooter myself. My only tip is the mistake I'm just figuring out, don't always do the layup/dunk button after a drop step, that's probably pretty obvious, but now after the drop step I am fading away and seem to be hitting more of my close range shots.

if you get in to the lane but there is somebody between you and the basket just take the short jumper instead of pressing the dunk/layup button everytime. it took me a while to figure that out. and if u see a player in the post with good position give it too him cause he'll most likely make the hook shot.

Don't always try to force dunks and layups over or around somebody, because most of the time, your player will automatically readjust his shot, and be unsuccessful most of the time. I'm still trying to keep myself from doing this, but when I finally just pull up for a little jumper, you can put two points on the board.
