I played at least 30 games so far and I have experienced the slowdown in EVERY game. It's getting really annoying when I walk the ball up court and it starts to slow down.

BTW, I have the PS2 version.

I experience the same slowdown as you...but this is what I found out. If you notice when the game loads it gives you only 1 tip. The tip is to mess around with the game speed. The higher the game speed the more slowdown you experience. I lowered my gamespeed and I did not experience any slowdown. Hope this helps

I have the XBOX version and YES this game has a HUGE problem with slow down, nothing worse then pulling up to drain a three and the slowdown occurs in mid stride of your shot, takes away from the realism and flow of the game. I like this game a lot, I have played literally all of the EA basketball games since day one (I'm 33) and I must say I truly enjoy this gameas much if not more than any of EA's offering, (though you have to admit, Coach K rocked for it's time), it's a blast, though I HATE THE SLOWDOWN, it's got me thinking of posibly returning the game! I have been playing the game with the press box camera and in EDTV Mode 480p, I wondering if you play this game in typical NTSC 480i mode would help the framerates, one shouldn't have to do this though to play a game!
