NBA Live Freestyle problem, and one other question.

Hey I got NBA Live on the 14th and I've been having a lot of fun w/ it. One problem though, is the Freestyle Control(well not the control itself but what the player does). I play w/ my hometown Rockets so I like to run the iso play for Francis alot, but whenever I try to do a move or w/e, the player always turns their back therefor making the Freestyle moves that I am tryin to make move toward the opposite goal, and I don't know what to do to fix it as it is very annoying. Another thing is, when you buy things from the NBA store, how do you equip them onto your player? When I buy them it says item unlocked but when I go to the edit player screen and none of the stuff that I have bought shows up there (a Jordan shoe, and a Rockets headband)? Can anyone help, anything is appreciated, thanks.

are you sayin that after doing a freestyle move and attemtpin to drive by the player, your player puts his back to the basket?

if this is what's happening, then i really dont know what to say. i've noticed this too, but i take it as a challenge. i guess the best you can do is make freestyle more effective so you have more time to get by? I really don't know. experiment.

as for the NBA Store...I don't know either. I dont wannna buy any sneakers b/c i dont see the purpose. I'm confused about this part of the game.

                About the store..

After you've unlocked shoes, you have to go Edit your players, go to lower body, and change the shoes to the ones you want. You can't put headbands on players, though, because you aren't allowed to edit the Heads of players.

                      similar question on defense:

what's the quickest way to get your player turned around for the rebound after a computer shot? seems the guy i'm controlling takes forever to turn around and I can't get in position quick enough for the defensive rebound.

Yeah, I know what your talking about with the freestyle thing. The defender like bumps your man and he doesn't go towards the basketball.
