But I just played a game that changed all that.
I was holding off on giving an impression of this game till I actually got to spend some quality time with it to enjoy what is does best. Its easy to pick a flaw out when you first play about 15 or so games things become clear whta you like and don't like. But to really apprectiate the game you must get some time in on it to really adjust to the game to fairly give it a chance. Most of the time we can't tell if its our lack of skill at the game (or somethig we just don't know how to do) or if its the game itself thats lacking.
Well I put some time in and I had this one particular game that made me say Live will hold me down for a while and I can wait to get ESPN( I am still getting it just not on release day as planned.)

I was the TWolves vs the Lakers and this game played amazing. It had every single possible scenario that could happen in a game. I started out trying to work KG in the post but his turn around wasn't falling and the Lakers took a early lead. Cassell goes out with foul trouble in comes Hudson and up goes the threes. I make a rally which is topped of with what seems like a signature Sprewell dunk where he comes through the lane and slams it with 2 hands real hard. The lakers call a TO and I was yelling in my best Dickie V voice
"They're gonna need a TO Baby!!!"
Fast foward to the 4th quarter where I am trading baskets and the lead as the Lakers are going to the BIG 4 and now my players are in serious foul trouble. KG picked up his 4th early and they seemed to go back to Malone purposely to get his 5th which of course he did because the refs always cheat for the LAkers
. I sat KG but then it became Wally's world and he scored 10 clutch points to keep us with a 3 point lead with under a minute
. This is where the game won me over. The lakers down by three take a quick shot with less then 45 seconds left trying to get a two in one situation which Marv commented as they didbut they missed the shot and I bring the ball down the court and go to my go to my main KG( This is why we pay him the big bucks) and he has Malone on the right block I call ISO and go to work on him while also trying to eat some clock as I make my move on malone he uses his body to knock me backwards but gives me the space to shoot I am like this is money but as I release the ball I see Kobe coming from the top of the key and he swings my jumper into the hands of Malone 
. Laker Timeout!
About 28 seconds left Lakers ball and they give it to Kobe and ISO it and he kills Wally with a nice crossover
I was expecting this to happen and looking for a little payback I come over with KG to get the block but instead I foul him he hits the shot and its a And 1
. He hits the free throw and now its tied and I am looking at a OT with KG fouled out so I know I have to score now or its over
. I got like less than 15 on the clock I give it to Wally and use Sprewell for a screen and fade to either get a shot for Wally or for him Well the CPU swicthes on me leaves Spree open I go to Pass it to him but GP knocks the ball loose Kobe snatches it and its a foot race to goal Kobe goes up to Slam it home I go for the block but get called for the foul he sinks two, they win and I officially fell in love with this game.

Im a wally fan so I use them as well in dynasty/ franchise mode.
