All I know is, if Steve Francis plays 82 games, gets 21.6 PPG, 6 ish APG, and top 20 in steals, he COULD go down NINE overall points.

Yep..... and the game simply sent him on a downward spiral after that, making him a 77, 71, 65, all the way down to mediocrity.

And yes, he played 82 games, so that should never happen. I could understand if he got hurt.

I THINK before you start the franchise, the game makes up its mind who it wants to progress and who it wants to decline. Because I signed Andrei Kirilenko, and he got up to a 94 overall by the year 2010!!!

But the players are different each time, in your franchise he could take that same downward spiral.

The progression model needs MAJOR work..... do you REALLY think Shaq's gonna be a 45 overall when he retires? It SHOULD be more Madden-esque in that regard, if an older player puts up his numbers, his rating will stay steady.

Have you even played ONE game yet. It seems like you get some crazy joy of simming 20 years down the road.

I could care less what Shaq is rated when he retires. And maybe if you PLAYED a season instead of simming it, Steve Francis would've put up 26 PPG instead of 21 PPG and his progression would've went up.

                          PlayaHataSupreme,
Have you even played ONE game yet. It seems like you get some crazy joy of simming 20 years down the road.

I could care less what Shaq is rated when he retires. And maybe if you PLAYED a season instead of simming it, Steve Francis would've put up 26 PPG instead of 21 PPG and his progression would've went up.

All I know is, if Steve Francis plays 82 games, gets 21.6 PPG, 6 ish APG, and top 20 in steals, he COULD go down NINE overall points.

That's ridiculous - man progression sucks if that's the case....

Yep..... and the game simply sent him on a downward spiral after that, making him a 77, 71, 65, all the way down to mediocrity.

Well I don't have THAT much time in my life, and yes I was curious as to how the generated rookies come out.

And that's a PHAT *** maybe, playing 82 games...... that would take at least 2 months and a half, man.... cot damn, dude.....
