    2k to Elite

After a terrible performance by 2k on NBA 2k12 i would like to know how many people are switching from 2k to Elite.

Live\Elite has had a "terrible performance" 5 out of the last 6 years....

going to have to put a decent game for me to at least consider "switching" lol

Terrible performance or people that are nitpicking every little thing? Huge difference to me.

I'm shocked that some feel 2K12 is so bad. I wouldn't touch an EA basketball game until it is tested by the masses. Remember Ncaa 10???? Nba Elite fiasco??? Gonna stick with a proven/safe product. Just me though

I actually really liked NBA Live 10. I thought it was the best basketball game in 2010. "IF" they would have just kept their engine and improved the game like 2K did in marketing and legends, they would have been ok. Instead, they hit the panic button for no real apparent reason. One of the biggest mistakes EA has made in regards to starting a game over. Elite had a lot of things that were intriguing, but it just didn't have the time to be a successful game. I think if they don't half *** it, Elite could be a very good game in 2012. They still need to release a good game for me to convert. I'm not enjoying this years 2K game like I should be, but I think most of that is because the lockout is killing me. The lockout does effect EA's game. A lot of people that aren't enjoying this years 2K game might try out Elite next year and see if they can get a fresh new product. I personally will wait til reviews come out and feedback on here. For everyones sake, everyone should be hoping EA releases a great game in 2012, as well as 2K. The more competition, the better.

The best game that was made really as 24th mentioned over the past 5 or 6 years.. all this gen was when a 2k guy came over and helped head the project

Sounds like more ovvereactional irrational thinking again

Maybe the correct word you're looking is disappointed instead of terrible because 2K12 is nowhere near to terrible.

Have you played nba2k12? nba2k12 is terrible. It might be ok if you do not understand the game of basketball or the laws of physics. I am not going to waste anymore of my time, but nba2k12 is garbage.

2K12 might be a decent game for those who play association mode only. However, they have really dropped the ball with two of the other area's of the game.

#1. Online. Again this year online for NBA 2K12 the online componant of the game is spotty at best. Live '10 had almost flawless online gameplay, I don't ask for perfect, but 2K12 should have better online connectivity than a game made in 2010.

#2. MyPlayer mode has been rendered almost useless after a couple of seasons due to crew and pick-up games being removed from the game. The whole point of MyPlayer is to build your player offline so you can take him online and compete against other MyPlayers.

If Live/Elite 2013 can provide solid gameplay (they were going in a good direction with Elite by giving FULL control to the user. 2K has just added sooo many animations to their gameplay, that it actually takes control AWAY from the user quite a bit.) along with a Be-a-Pro mode like in their NHL game, and a solid online experience, EA can get many of their old fans back and maybe take a few 2K ballers with them.

Nothin' but the Truth! The fact tht the online was bad and they took out crew games and pick-up games killed it for me
