I'm thinking of sending in my game to EA with a description of what the problem is, and that's the damn framerate. I sent this to them.

During gameplay of NBA Live 2004, I notice a slow down problem during
the game. I and many other people have had this "slow down" problem
while others games have run perfectly. I purchased the game as soon as it
was released in stores, and heard the first batch of shipped games had
this slow down problem. Will exchanging my copy of NBA Live 2004 for
another copy resolve this problem? Thanks.

Thank you for contacting us here at Electronic Arts Technical Support,
Although many of our games are very technical in nature or difficult to
play, the issue you are encountering is not with the game.
That's real nice, but I don't believe you. I'm sending the game to them and I expect a quality finished product like others have. I believe if a good number of us send our games to them, they will replace it for what we expect. Just to test something out, I'm getting a cleaner for the XBox, then I'll try the game, if not...the game is being sent it.
