    Injuries

Has anyone had a player on their team suffer a prolonged injury?

I've had a player injured on my team injured once, but just for that one game. I knocked out a CPU player on Orlando for 7 weeks.

I'm thinking about bumping up the Injury slider, but nothing too frequent where players are getting injured left and right. The CPU simmed games have injuries. Maybe injuries happen more as the season progresses which is cool. Just wondering.

    Re: Injuries

I left the injury slider alone, and I am still getting injuries left and right. At least one every other game. I have only had 1 that lasted longer than a game, and it was Chris Bosh. He was out for 4 weeks I think. I have seen CPU players get out for the season. The injuries are very realistic indeed.

                Re: Injuries

Injuries seem to pretty much only be caused by the big collisions off the dunk button (though I had one while taking a charge) so if you are like me and have wised up to not trying to force it down low in traffic, you may want to tweak that slider up a little (I have mine at 70) since you aren't playing in a way that is prone to causing many injuries.

I also noticed that if you put a player back in the game who was injured but is still now available, if he gets into one of those collisions there is a high probability he will get reinjured and be out for awhile. This happened in my Franchise and I lost E-Rob for 5 games.
