I like how they really put more emphasis on the defense this year's version but something is really pissing me off. I tried posting a defense thread late last week but nobody responded.
Basically, here's my issue. I can't seem to steal or intercept balls on my own. My team does it but the player I'm controlling can't. For example, if I have a tall PF or C fronting and double teaming a man in the post, I expect to either intercept the ball or at least tip it if the PG is trying to pass him the ball. In NBA 2K3, if you wanted to prevent a big man from getting the ball, you could. That's my only beef with the game. When the CPU AI steals or intercepts the ball, there's an animation that I can't seem to achieve. I've tried freestyling, using the block button, and the steal button but nothing seems to work.
