One move that looks exactly like Micheal Finley's move is the the jump stop or pro hop where he fade's away on his jumper. I thought that was so sweet! Also, it may be just my imagination but when I shoot 3's with Antoine Walker, it looks exactly like he shoots in real life. Almost like a set shot! He's streaky as hell in the game too.

lol, hell yea. That pro hop fadaway jumpshot is vintage Fin. That is Mike-Fin's money move.

EA did the animation for that move very well.

I feel ya on the Toine shot! He even runs like Toine! Seriously, there is some somewhat of a "signature movement" feel to a lot of the players. It's just cool when you can tell if it is Van Exel, Webber, Payton, Stoudamire, Finley, etc...just by the way the move, shoot, pivot, dunk, etc...hell, they even have Stephon Marbury's chest pass right!!! Very impressive! My how far we've come from Tom Chambers unstoppable "Mark Jackson" dunk on the Genesis' initial Lakers versus Celtics!

In other news, I got hosed by Lives subtle little features. I lost another game to Houston. I'm down by 2 with less than 5 seconds. I inbound the ball to Dirk, dance around a lil bit. I know for a fact I got the shot off with at least 1.5 to go on the clock. The ball swishes through the net and I'm crunk, thinking we're going to OT. Of course the referees have to review it. This is the kicker...Marv Albert says, "it looks good from here". I get more crunk and next thing I know, the damn ref is waving it off I invented some new curse words. I was so pissed. Now i'm thinking, we have one hell of a game.

y'all notice how van exel stands way back when shooting free throws like he does for real? subtle but its adds to the realism. i also snuck over to the espn forum. if i didnt know better its seems like the same old game, all they are talkin bout is graphics and 24/7 mode. whatever floats yours.

                              Good post Big...

My favorite little thing is how if you control a defender and the action is away from you, hold down on the right stick (the defend animation) the guy doesn't do the normal "I'm D'n you up" animation, but does a "trying-to-use-my-peripheral-vision-to-watch-the-play-AND-watch-my-man" animation. He holds his hand out to feel for his man and kinda shuffles back and forth looking both ways. This looks SOOOOOO freakin' slick, it adds a ton to the immersion factor....

another underrated little feature is the hands in the air defensive stance. This does alot to clog up the middle and combat the pro-hop.
