    Well I don't understand I guess.

i like to lose a game as much as win.

I don't care if the CPU brings it..i like that...bring it on baby.

Call it comeback, randomness, whatever...I don't need to win all the time. Maybe some people do and don't like to lose I don't know?

But, in REAL LIFE, there is randomness to things...crazy comebacks all the time, teams in all sports go on runs and comeback.

To want a game that always allows you to keep a lead without turning up the intensity is, IMO, boring.

i agree with you, i hate winnign all the time , and when im on defense i liek trying to stop the other teams star player(s) thats the FUNNEST part.. trying to stop shaq,is a task and damn near impossible but all fun.

Re: What I hate about Live\'s AI

I don't find seeing 18 point leads turn into losses any more fun than I liked seeing constant shootouts in Madden. Is it possible for comebacks to occur? Of course. But you don't see it happen EVERY GAME. If I want to play a game where what I do strategically doesn't matter, then I'll play NFL Blitz - or in this case, NBA Jam.
HBO's "The Wire" should rank as one of the top 10 shows EVER on tv - period

      XBL gamertag: d0meBreaker22 (that's a zero)

congrats Steelers, city of Pittsburgh, and Steeler Nation - SIX TIME WORLD CHAMPS

If anyone saw the Lakers vs Kings on Friday night, there was a crazy comeback too. Lakers were down by over 15 and guess who helped make the comeback. Not Shaq, Kobe, Malone, or Payton. It was Fisher. That's right, Fisher. He shot threes and twos to help the make it a one point game. They eventually lost though. It happens guys, and that's what makes it fun. It would not be as much fun if there were no comebacks.

I don't know if it's the AI handicapping you, but these comebacks greatly enhance gameplay.

You're saying you would expect Fisher to do that 80-90% of the time? I understand that sometimes players get in a zone and can become somewhat unstoppable. But you don't expect that to happen most of the time, especially from a marginal player. I wouldn't expect Fisher to hit 3's with ease when losing every game any more than I would expect Tommy Maddox to throw for 450yds every game. People shouldn't try to use things like Jamal Lewis rushing for 295yds in one game as a reason things are justified occurring in EA games. Trying not to use football references, but I saw the same excuses as to why Madden is "realistic" w/the random fumbles at inopportune times or whatnot.

Blowouts occur in the NBA as they do in the NFL; doesn't mean that the computer should never be on the end of one. I would think most people would feel frustrated after working hard to build a 20pt. lead only to know that the computer WILL claw it's way back into the game REGARDLESS of what you do. Sure, it makes for exciting games, if you're idea of excitement is having things that happen in the game pre-determined.
