ESPN still looks a generation ahead of Live, even with the default cameras.

I haven't picked up espn yet, but the graphics in nba live 2004 are fine. Are they the greatest of all time? Probably not, but the gameplay is tight and that slowdown thing is not a game killer at all.
Quite frankly, I'm glad I picked up nba live this year. The posts on the espn board are scaring me. I haven't liked live since live 2000. This year's is better.

I haven't picked up espn yet, but the graphics in nba live 2004 are fine. Are they the greatest of all time? Probably not, but the gameplay is tight and that slowdown thing is not a game killer at all.
Quite frankly, I'm glad I picked up nba live this year. The posts on the espn board are scaring me. I haven't liked live since live 2000. This year's is better.

There is not a thing wrong with the graphics. Pick up a game on a previous generation system and tell me Live's graphics are bad.

The graphics are good, the animations AWESOME. I am not as concerned about somebody's tatoo cuz I don't go to instant replay and zoom in on players to oooh and ahhh. I just play the game. And from that perspective they're damn beautiful. The other day I was playing and my fiancee walked by the TV and said "This game is very pretty". How's that for non-expert opinion?

I was pretty let down by the graphics and presentation in the game even compared to NBA 2K3, however, that doesn't stop this from being the best NBA title EA has ever put out. There are a few gameplay elements that seriously bother me, and I'm still learning to play right, but the graphics definitely aren't a major concern. I'd sacrifice graphics for gameplay any day of the weak anyways.

I haven't been this happy with a Live title since either 1998 or 2000.
