I'm having the same problem. I can have a 3-1 and my 2 players on the wing will stop at the 3pt. line or they will just stop anywhere and wait to see what the person with the ball is going to do 1st.

Re: How do I get my players to run a fast break?
This is one of the things that consistently bothers me. My players will either stop running like the others mentioned, or simply jog at a slower pace when I try to push the ball up the floor giving the defence a chance to get back.Comment

Re: How do I get my players to run a fast break?
I have no problems with the fast break. After a rebound I pass it to the closest guy to the other basket and 7 times out of 10 I will get 2 fast break points.
Try this.
After getting a defensive rebound press the white button, which will get to your closest guy to the other basket, then if an opponent is in the way, then just do a bit of freestyle to break his ankles and then slam it down.Comment

Re: How do I get my players to run a fast break?
If I want to run the fastbreak, I run the "cut to the basket" offense or some of the other offenses that have players moving closer to the basket (maybe secondary break?). It isn't 100% perfect, but pretty good. I think part of the problem begins when players run up the court they have a tendency to stop at their position in the half-court offense. Cut to the basket seems to get them to do just that...cut to the basket instead of stopping.Comment

Re: How do I get my players to run a fast break?
Usually I get the ball to the outlet man as quick as possible and if I see someone under the rim or by himself I hit the white button. I have had great success by doing this it works a high % of the time. So I really don't have problems with the fastbreak anymore....You can't change what you don't acknowledge.Comment
