    Hardiness?

What is the hardiness rating for? Primacy (I think that's what the last rating is called) determines who shoots on the teams, I believe. But what is hardiness?

    -Thanks

Hey bro,I wish I could give you the perfect meaning for that one but I could only come up with a word meaning I found in a dictionary from the word Hard. It led me to beleive its kinda like some sort of clutch or boldness for the player.I can't say for sure but I can't think of any other meaning you should look up the word in the dictionary you perfer and check out the word HARD and see how it describe its various meanings, the word HARDINESS is listed amoung the variations of its prime word HARD. Re: Hardiness?

Hardiness is related to how much a player gets injured. Higher hardiness means the guy is tougher and less likely to get injured. Low hardiness means he will get hurt more and be out a lot.

<hr /></blockquote><font class="post">Yes I would tend to agree with you on that but according to my source of information I believe my thinking on that is also correct. I recall a Video Basketball Game with a CLUTCH rating for its players and I'm not sure if that is what its for also. This could have been in NBA LIVE before they changed it to HARDINESS. But in any case I think we're both correct based on my source of imformation which is factual and my recall of early versions of the NBA LIVE series

Is it just me or do Rickster's posts sound EXTREMELY sarcastic. LOL. Anyways hardiness IS how often a player gets injured, or how tough he is. So basically it means the players durability.

For example, Marcus Camby would have an extremely low hardiness since he is easily injured and goes out with injuries alot. On the other hand, Iverson would have a really high hardiness rating since he takes a beating every game but continues to play and rarely misses games due to injury.

Damn, they should have a clutch rating in addition to a potential rating. They would fit in great with primacy and hardiness, since primacy doens't automatically equal clutch.
