I just ordered Live for xbox. The 10 man freestyle seems to do wonders for Live I hear. ESPN is only okay, but I need a bball game that is the real deal. I'm too passionate about basketball to get stuck playing an okay game. I really hope Live delivers and I'm in for a pleasant surprise like most of you all seem to be. I really hope guys are not bull-ishin either about Live being the sh_t this year. After all it can't be much worse than ESPN anyways so I said what the hell I'll give Live 1 more chance.

Welcome to the "Sega messed up and EA is taking their customer's club". I was in the same boat you were in. I bought ESPN, and it was definately not worth $50, and was probably the most dissapointing game that I have played in a long time.
Then, there is Live. If I remember right, you were over here always putting Live down, but I will tell you what, this game is one of the most awesome sports gaming experiences that I have ever played. I have a feeling that you will really enjoy it as well.
When you get it, and if you don't like it, there is a slider for everything. Teams play like their own styles. So, congradulations, and look forward to your impressions.Twitter - WTF_OS

CLASSIFIED, I was waiting for the release of ESPN since the beginning of the summer. I took this past Thursday night off because I thought I would have the game to play all night. Well, when I did get the game on Friday I could tell right away that I wasn't feeling it.
I haven't bought any EA title since the 2k series launched, but I had no other choice. I was craving for a good basketball game for so long that ESPN had to go. I returned ESPN today and got Live, and I have to say its the sh_t. If your a graphics whore, then maybe you won't like it. But, the best animations ever released on a basketball game totally outshine the average graphics. Hopefully, you will like it as much as I do.Comment

i just wanna know where that dude was that kept saying that the 17 minute video was the final version, b/c this game is great! I just can't wait for the PC version. Not to take anything away from espn but Live definetly delivers with the gameplay--thank god for those sliders!
