NO doubt!! Gameplay!! However after 2 year, I would say all of elements are important!!

Gameplay without a doubt. It has to play well before you can enjoy everything else.

In next gen, I think they all directly effect the quality of a game. Sure gameplay is important, but gameplay INCLUDES presentation/animations/graphics etc. It's such a broad word, gameplay.

I think capturing the look and feel of the NBA experience is equally important.

Gameplay, then graphics, then presentation. What I especially look forward to about Live 13 is the inclusion of Mike Breen and Jeff Van Gundy in the commentary, I love listening to those guys in real life!

Control. I prefer the Live series over other sim hoop games is because of how great the controls have always been. Can't wait for Live 13.

I would say all elements are equally important, because everyone yells gameplay but if the presentation or graphics aren't up to snuff then the game will fail, if presentation is on point but gameplay and graphics are down then it fails, etc etc. A good basketball game has to have a good balance within all elements and this would include a good features set for lasting appeal...so I don't see a single most important element for a good basketball game they all work hand in hand to create a good basketball game in the first place.

You prefer the series because of it arcade style.

I personally don't like robots in my basketball game.
