The hitting of the button is a great way to get the offensive boards, people need to stop admiring there jumpshots and control the man underneath right after you take the shot--I get a bout 9-12 offensive boards a game using this method. You've actually been able to do that in all the lives.

Bottom line is you shouldn't have to switch men to get Offensive rebounds. Non controlled players should get them also...

I've played with Pareds original sliders and I'm now using Ray's sliders and have no problems grabbing offensive rebounds.

I use the Nets and after 5 games they lead the league in offensive rebounds. I just played a game in which Martin grabbed 21 rebounds against the Pacers. I'm not sure how many offensive boards he grabbed, but I remember seeing that my team had 8 offensive boards mid-way through the 3rd quarter.

There's a huge difference between offensive rebounds and defensive rebounds statistically anyway so to me it's not that big of a deal. I get a few and with the teams I play with their is only like one guy with a high Off. Reb. rating so I'm content.

One thing I noticed in my short time playing Live, is that computer controlled teamates rarely go and jump for the ball. Even after I raised my sliders a bit, the ball will clank off the rim, and there they sit, hoping it falls to them. Also, sometimes if I drive and do a layup or something, and I miss, my guy will stand there, and I am unable to move him for a few seconds. By that time, the computer has the ball. Little annoying, but I'm sure I'll figure out something.

For now, though, I just go for the boards myself, and it's very enjoyable. The problem is, I am often the point guard on D, and on O, I drive and dish a lot, so at the moment, Steve Nash leads the Mavs in rebounding (that's with me in there as a created player, with 99's in the rebounding categories). Still, I find this game very enjoyable after only a couple days and I'm sure after I really get into moving around those sliders to my liking, I'll be having a blast.

**Quick Edit - Instead of starting a new thread for this question, I'll ask it here quickly. When I start Live, it asks me every time who my favorite team is. I thought this was supposed to go away after I choose it for the first time (ala Madden)? I thought maybe it would save it to the Bio or my profile. Not a huge deal, just a tad irratating.
