Kanobi I would tend to agree with you on most of what you said and am appreciative to having someone to speak to who knows what they're talking about. Pehaps it seems that my disatisfaction with Game Reviews leads one to think that I'm hell bent to discredit them...I am not.

The difference in reading something a reviewer writes and or post just leaves a bitter taste in my mouth. Its possible that due to the fact that I use to take them as the "Final Word" on video games which really sucked and took my money left me confused and most sad.

I have since then taken it on my own to compare and judge for myself so as not to blame it on the reviewer or venue used to promote any said Game.

And yes my comments on reviews my seem harsh,but not in comparision to being out 50 Bucks or so of hard earned dollars. I don't have issues with reviews as a whole, as I have mention early on this forum. I would agree with you on seeking out information own your own. And no I'm not pointing fingers at any one particular reviewer but it seems that over the years of my Gaming exsperence (sorry about spelling) they seem to rush to judgement and give you the reader what we all know as a lot of "Eye Candy".

All in all I would once again agree with your views and comments. Are you associated with writing any game reviews? I sense that you have a vast knowledge of how these people work from a writers prospective. Just curious nothing personal.

In any case your post are very well written and ring with truth...and yeah I'd have to tell folks to try it and see for themselves also.

If I wrote reviews I'd need a Lawyer on retainer, cause I'd let people know "This Game Sucks" which in turn would lead to some type of Legal action taken against me. I think tell call it "Slander".

So to them I'd say sue me. And become rich and famous as the guy who took on the media powers and dared to speak the truth about reviews. Just kiddin'
