I'm getting ready to start my season, and I have the rosters updated for opening night, etc. I think EA did a pretty good job on the ratings, but there are a couple players who for one reason or another are now on a different level than when EA did the ratings. I was hoping that people might want to list here those players who they thought fell into this category. What would be really cool is if people could post their changed ratings for these players too. So far I've determined that the following players should be changed:
Boosted-
1) Zach Randolph - seems like he's going to be the Blazers #1 or #2 option this year....20 and 10 so far.
2) Vin Baker - not a huge boost, but he certainly seems to be a faster and better player than last year.
3) T.J. Ford - maybe a little better than EA thought.
Dropped-
1) Terrell Brandon - I just drop his ratings so that he's an overall sub-40. That way the Hawks don't play him (since he's unofficially retired).
2) Michael Dickerson - he retired, so he should be released to the free agent list and also bring down all his ratings so no team signs him.
3) McDyess - if you don't want the Knicks to play him (I only do this sort of things for players who either are definitely out for the season or are questionable to play all season).
Any others people can think of? And if anyone would care to take the time to share, I'd certainly love to see what people did to change the ratings of the above named players and others.
