What is the difference in Auto and User shooting options?
Does one of thesee rely on player attributes and the other the timing of the shot by the user only? I would rather have a combination. What do these mean? ThanksTags: None -

Re: What is the difference in Auto and User shooting options?
The chance of you making a shot with CPU controlled shooting is based entirely on the players' rating and his position in relation to the basket.
User controlled shooting also takes into account the rating, but you must time your shot too. So if you're timing it correctly you have more chance of making the perfect shot, but also the chance to completely stuff it. It's not as if you will be knocking down 3's with Shaq just because you timed the shot correctly.
I tend to use CPU shooting as I like the players' ability to be the thing that decides if he makes his shots. I'd rather drop players because they're shooting poorly - not because I'm making them shoot poorly with my poor timing when I could be giving another player in the team an advantage because I'm timing all his shots well. Does that make sense?

Makes perfect sense. I have contemplated using CPU shot control myself for the exact same reason that you stated.F-L-O-R-I-D-A! S-T-A-T-E! Florida State! Florida State! Florida State! Wooooo!Comment
