Why doesnt the computer take mid range jumpers

It seems like every team I play all they do is take 3's or take it to the basket. Maybe because I play on superstar. Anybody else have this problem.

i really think it depends on which team you're playing against. i played against the Lakers and noticed Kobe, Fox & George shot plenty of mid range j's. also, Kobe would take quick shots with 18-20 seconds on the shot clock. ...

I am glad I got the Buell- I love riding it, I love the oddball looks I get on the road- I love people asking "What IS that thing?" I love flying into a corner WAY too hot, scared spitless and sure I'll never hold it at this speed- and hearing the bike whisper "Sissy!"...

Re: Why doesnt the computer take mid range jumpers

NBA Live has always had a problem with the cpu taking mid ranged jumpers. I'm a shot chart freak, and as long as I can remember Live utilizing the shot chart, its always looked the same after each game. The cpu scores the majority of thier points in the paint. And the rest at the three point stipe. And maybe 4 or 5 shots mid range. Its always and I mean always looked like that.

The cpu plays a decent game in the first half then in the second, it forces its way into the hole for layups, hook shots, dunks, even short fadeaway jumpers. But its always in the hole.

Depending on your slider setting, you can make the cpu shot Js. Your defense has to be up to par and it will force them to shoot jumpers when the shot clock is about to run out. Cause has'nt anybody notice, sometimes the cpu will keep tryna go to the hole and you just keep bumping him back until the shot clock is about to run out. Thats when they might shoot a jumper but the majority of times, they will pass to the C or PF and shoot a unblockable hook shot.

I haven't noticed alot of mid-range j's. I may have to play against the lakers and see how that works out.

All I see is 3's and dunks/lay-ups. The only time they shot something remotely resembling a mid-range j is when they shot falling to the side and fading away as the shot clock expires and hits all net.

Uses Pareds sliders and you wont see that problem. That take a ton of mid range jumpers and mixed lapup and outside shots. Game plays awesome with his sliders.
