Re: First set of screens for NBA Live 13
Yea I am very impressed with the player models LeBron James, Tyson Chandler, Amare Stoudemire all look better than 2K12s player models.List of the best Shoe Creations found on the OS Shoe Vault Discussion Thread

Player faces and the shoes look good. Everything else I do not like. I rather have the 2k flowing bigger jerseys than painted on ones despite both being wrong. Niether game has gotten the bodies right yet.HELLO BROOKYLN.

The textures on those shoes look top notch. Not a shoe maniac but that is easily noticeable.EA and 2k have the unfortunate task of trying to balance on a tightrope of fun and sim while trying not to fall 10,000 feet to their death. Instead of a safety net waiting down below there will just be angry customers quick to move out of the way and talk of their failure.Comment

Re: First set of screens for NBA Live 13
I'm not a design connoisseur, but how hard is it to get player models right? This is a serious question.
Neither game has been able to capture appropriate proportions of any player in the league. I guess I just don't understand. Live has limp noodles and 2k has NFL Linebackers.
They have all this incredible technology at their disposal. Facial scanning, motion capturing, etc. but somehow someone can't say hey, how about we scan bodies so that they look appropriately sized. All it would take is scanning maybe 5 different body types and using them as the base, the manipulate from there. I really don't get why after all this time, neither company can get it right.Cubs | Bulls | Dolphins | 'Noles

Re: First set of screens for NBA Live 13
if you think it isn't, then obliviously you havent seen many elite 11 videos or screen shots, no troll at all, just stating what i see, they said they took elements from elite 11, player body models is one of them, i didn't say the took the players likeness or textures (of what the puppet look is still there), but the player models (structure and build ) are like elite 11Comment

Re: First set of screens for NBA Live 13
The graphics look pretty much like I thought they would, there not horrible but also not the greatest but they look better than past Live titles. Also I still think this game is either pre-alpha or is in it's alpha stages so they still have room for improvement I would believe.Last edited by MarvellousOne; 06-04-2012, 07:44 PM.Comment

Looks alright. Nothing more, nothing less really.
At least they're not bad on MLB 2K12/NBA Elite levels where it almost keeps you from getting immersed in the game.Originally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches. Its not too thin and not too thick. You get the support your body needs.
