Let me first just say that I am a hockey player of sport and video games. But the last 2 years I have purchased NBA 2k11 and 12 and it has been a lot of fun but a learning curve getting all the moves down. This year however I will be buying either a Hockey or Basketball game this year not both. So I will wait to see which is better before purchasing either one. So hearing about this is not a step in the right direction for my money. Right know NHL is in the lead.

I hope they do the connected careers like madden 13 will do this year. Just imagine playing with legends and hall of famers instead of just micheal jordan. Can't wait to see what they do this year

I remain undeterred. I am so bored with 2k. I have just played it so many years it is boring. I don;t care about how the jerseys look or if the shooting percentages are spot on, I just want some variety. Something fun. I will buy this game soley because I know EA's online servers are quality. I started an online association with 8 of my friends in 2k12 and we weren't able to complete more than 3 hum vs hum games without it kicking us and saying, "You must be signed into XBOX Live to access this feature." All the while while were were still talking in a party on XBOX Live. Horrible. I get sick of playing the CPU especially when every games seems to be played out the same. I know its cliche' but its annoying, and I can't ignore my feelings.

I hope NBA Live 13 is amazing, but even if it is just NBA Live 10 with updated rosters, logos, and courts, I will be happy. GIVE ME VARIETY OR GIVE ME DEATH. Well, maybe not death, but you get the point.

That's the funniest thing I've read in some time here on OS.

That person you quoted is JUST the kind of person that game publishers would LOVE to have, in fact that person is just the kind of person who makes up the majority of folks who buy these games. Little wonder there are so few improvements, eh?
