USING EVERYBODY'S IDEAS... I THINK WE HAVE SOMETHING NICE HERE,,,,,,,,
Hi everyone, just wanted to say that ROCCHISLER found something that i thought was cool, i'll set it up for ya, while using Pared's terrific sliders and following the directions to cut down on fastbreaks, and using roc chisler's idea to go to cpu team and change the team's offensive set from dynamic to whatever set the team uses (ex lakers use a triangle offense and knicks use a motion offense) my games have been truly realistic in stats i play with the knicks and lost a game to the heat 91-85, we both shot under 45% from field and the 3pt shot was way down, the the cpu took about 15 shots from 3 pt land, instead of 30/40. and there were fastbreaks but not unrealistic, i blocked a bunch of shots, but that is nothing just turn down blocking slider a little, and i've had some really good games... also if people know what offensive sets some nba teams use i would love here from ya, nice work pared and rocchisler and thanks again your guys are making this game fun for me.......................sjj2xs

Can you list sliders and the directions you followed to achieve these results...and yes if somebody has the knowledge of the type of play each team uses that would be great.... I thought each team plays its specific style? maybe not ..any way thanks...I do have the game but have yet to start the perfect season set up for the most realistic play.... -

The thing about Live is, teams don't play to their tendencies, but players do. For example, when you play the Nets, you know you have to worry about Kidd creating, Martin going crazy on the low block, and Jefferson attacking the basket at every opportunity. But they don't run their backcutting offense. Some teams are obvious to figure out, others not, but we can take a crack at it...
Some obvious ones:
Lakers -> Sideline Triangle
Bulls -> Sideline Triangle
Sixers -> Motion, Box, or Secondary Break(few quick screens for the SG)
Nets -> 1-4 High, Motion, or simply "Basket Cuts"
Utah -> Utah!
Kings -> 1-4 High, Utah, Motion, or Basket Cuts
Mavs -> 3 point, Zone Buster plays (Guys camping out behind the arc)
Spurs -> Double High, Flex(lots of plays for the PF), Post Up
Suns -> Double High
Magic -> Stagger (SG starts play off high screen, goes to low box)
That's all I can think of for now...

I read on here that someone said the Twolves run a motion offense. I also did some searches on the net and read that the nets run the princeton offense. I dont know if this is in the game.Comment
