Dynasty Points, do they carry over?

My apologies if this has been asked, but does anyone know if Dynasty Points carry over from season to season?

I've played 20 games and have accumulated 2880 pts.

          THANK GOD

Also, when I made the playoffs, it saved to a seperate playoff file, not to the "Dynasty", file. Is that supposed to happen?

Yup. Kind of odd. Makes a lot more sense and is a lot more space-friendly to use a single dynasty file.
