Judging from the gameplay demo shown, players seem to exhibit more natural movements while on the court (from article)
Welp, seems like the playmaker engine helps the animations look smother and more realistic, so maybe what Steve and the rest saw didn't have good animation because the playmaker engine tech wasn't included in that build.

What they say was probly like watching a body with no backbone, now the backbone seems to be in place so i wonder if the reviews would change after seeing it. But the again I've never heard of "The Game Hunters" so maybe EA is using people they know will make it sound good.

it actually the same build that steve and others seen, the write said," I got the chance to briefly check out both titles at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3 Expo) in Los Angeles. Here are some first impressions:", so that would have been the same build everyone seen

Oh I didn't realize that was E3. This article says the animations are natural, while the others say their robotic. I gotta take Steve's word. Somethings up tho

I feel you bro, as of now i really dont care what any one of these 2 companies says (EA or 2K) its time to let their 'gameplay' videos do the talking

I could have written that based on info found on the Net.

I've always been a Live guy so I hope they really make this one shine. Haven't played a hoops game since. I just could never get the hang of the way 2K was put together when my buddies would want me to play with them. I missed being able to dunk/layup with X and shoot with B.

I think Live is moving away from shooting with buttons as well bruh -- well, at least Elite '11 was moving away from it. Shooting with the analog sticks is better -- so many things you can do with it. I'm sure Live will incorporate this too but in 2k have the ability to choose what hand you finish with using the analog stick -- something a button will never allow you to do.

Never thought of it this way. Like I said I've never really touched a 2K game.

Is there an option then when you shoot to like pull LT or a bumper that makes you dunk/layup? Basically I'd be concerned with wanting to just stop and shoot a really close jumper over a taller defender rather than going into him and drawing contact just because I'm within 4 feet of the bucket.

You could choose with which hand you wanted to finish in Live 10 but I get your point. I liked the idea of shooting the way Elite 11 had, maybe that will be their aproach in the next gen versions.
