I did not find the topic misleading. Many people think so because they didn't see gameplay. They stated that Synergy is new, play calling is new, new animations on offense and defense, etc. Just because no gameplay was shown doesn't make a topic misleading.

I agree, it was great info but it's just time to see what they have been talking about in some 5 on 5 gameplay.

As much as I want to see gameplay, I won't get selfish in asking for it. I would rather wait and see a complete build of the game rather than rush it and see a very early build and be disappointed. Either way, this game is a day 1 purchase for me, because I will never play another 2k game again. After 5 years of the same game, I want something new.

I knew I'd get a rise out of you I just can't stand the amount of frustration I get from 2k games. If this game doesn't work out, then I'll just have to accept that this generation of basketball games isn't my thing and hope for the best with the next gen. I'm not saying I'm going to enjoy Live 13 and support it, but I will give it a try. However, if it's looking like a repeat of Elite, I will probably pass. It's a day 1 purchase if it looks promising. Man, don't talk to me about supporting a game even when it's not going anywhere. I've bought Madden and NCAA since I was like 15 and this year I refuse to buy both games. Hopefully EA can deliver a product, because if they don't, I won't be playing a basketball game again this year.

All of this talk with guys bashing one game who is at least a complete game, rah rahing for a series that has done nothing but steal money from fans since 2005, its beyond reason how anyone can continue to go on about day 1 purchase and calling it selfish for wanting to see some proof after they purposely destroyed the game then mishandled 2 years of down time

I enjoyed Live 06 and Live 10. Who is to say 2k is a complete game with it's passing faults and terrible logic. Just because the game has been the same for 6 years and has a strong fan base doesn't mean that it's a complete game. People have gone to extreme measures to take out over 300 broken plays to make the game playable, putting in hours upon hours. I didn't buy Live 07 or 08. If you're going to say that Live has stolen money, then Madden, NCAA, NHL 2k, MLB 2k...all these games have been terrible and people continue to buy them. I'm not the ONLY person in this world that is going to buy Live 13 on the first day if it looks promising. People have got so built up that if you don't buy the game day 1, your sending a message to EA that their game isn't going anywhere. I want to enjoy a basketball game, and already know 2k isn't my game. Who are you to say that if I go to my last resort and spend 60$ on a game that's my only chance at possibly enjoying a basketball game, and saying that I'm getting bent over and getting my money stolen? I can accept if Live 13 is a terrible game, and I will be able to tell if it is and will stay away from buying it and once again from playing a basketball game. But for someone to tell me that I'm making a mistake in life because I am buying a video game on day 1, and that I'm getting bent over by EA, etc...

If the games bad, I won't buy it. I stated my thoughts wrong. I didn't mean to say I'd buy a totally unplayable game just because it's not 2k.

They really didn't go into much but from what was said it was more signatures and signature animations.

Point guards giving signals when calling plays, defense pointing and telling other players to get back on defense so communication. They also mentioned something about playbooks that you have never been able to do before, so that is the something that has never been done before gameplay. They are pimping Synergy as the input to get the AI to play realistic. Sounds good
