    How do you face up?

The defender in this game? Im watching a real game right now, and the ballhandler is facing the basket 90% of the time. But in Live it seems like you always have your back to the basket once you are over halfcourt. I can sit there and do a crossover repeatedly, but this is not realistic. Am I missing something here???

Space. If youre watching the game you'll notice about 3 or four feet of space between the defender and the handler. When you have the ball at the top, the D sets up around three line. Dont run up on em. just back away, creating some space, and the ballhandler will face up.

Im figuring out how to create space. But how do I get a player to face in the high post? I am always backing up, or crossing over or something seemingly..

Without dribbling the ball, move the right-analog around and your guy will do pivot moves which can make him face the defender or back him down. If you're dribbling, just move till you face the defender.

                Hope that helps.
