Seriously, how can you prefer Elite to 2k? Heck, even the first 2k owns Elite. Even, the bad Live´s that were released on the start of this generation of consoles are better. It´s your opinion, i get that, but it is a very awkard one.

I'll believe that this isn't cancelled when I actually see it released, and not a day sooner.

Hmmm...there's no way they will have the game ready in time for Oct 2. If they somehow do release the game on Oct 2, it may be filled with bugs.....crucified Andrew Bynum anyone? Are they willing to take that chance?

I did some research because I wasn't sure how far along "Beta" actually was in a game development cycle. I found that if they are working hard on getting the game to Beta then they aren't that far off from a complete game.

Im also surprised that they havent gotten to beta yet. At this point, I would have thought they would been tweaking and polishing the game. Even if they didnt really start back up until last year, they still shouldve been done.

I want this game to be good. I like having options and opposing games using have features the other game doesnt. If it does come out, I would need to see the reviews and gameplay before even thinking about getting it cheap.

This forum is no different than the 2K forums. Actually, you have LESS trolling in here than the 2k forums.

Guys have a right to be concerned. No news about this game has come out, the release is in doubt, and the fact that they said they "salvaged" Elite to make Live makes guys skeptical that EA is dedicated to making a basketball game without screwing up.

These are valid concerns. Hell, at least people are posting here. Do you know how dead this would be if all you guys talked about were the positive aspects of Elite or Live 13? It'd be you, and maybe 2-3 other people. People want this game to succeed. There is no doubt about that. EA at the moment isn't exactly filling us with confidence.

Elite was garbage. Let's just get that out the way. Live 10 was the best game (from EA) on this generation of consoles and that's what gave people confidence to say "Live may challenge 2k". Then Elite happened and gamebreaking glitches were found in the demo. THE DEMO. You could do a turn around hookshot from 3 with Kobe and make it EVERY TIME because the timing for a hook shot was simple and the shooting controls were timing base. Then you had nonsense like Boozer dunking from the free-throw line. IN TRAFFIC. And you're telling me EA used THAT as a base to create Live 13? Really? REALLY?

Color me and others skeptical until we see footage.....but wait....EA decided not to show footage at the event they were supposed to...you know...the event that OS didn't get an invitation to? The same OS where some of it's members exposed Elite for what it was by showing said gameplay footage.....

some people don't want live 06, 07, 08, 09, 10 ( to some extent) or nba elite 11 ..

we want a Live game that represents REAL basketball the best it can

My bad. I was wrong about the hookshot glitch. It was even WORSE than I remember it. All you had to do was aim at the basket, the timing was automatic for it. SMDH.

Everyone here posting well enough has given ample reason to justify how they feel and why and your problem is you just can't deal with some not agreeing with the fact that ea has screwed up too many times on purpose
