so after 2k dropped the ball today, i'm wondering, does this game has crew mode?

If Live has Crew, or sumthin close to it.... I'll buy the game and try it out.... I'm no Live fan, just wouldn't mind a crew mode to play ..... If it has a mode like crew.... the downloads of this game will go up....

They didn't drop the ball. There's a small number of fans who wanted crew and they didn't manage to integrate it in a good way. There's no ball dropping there considering the game as a whole looks great.

Ea should try to hae features that aren't I 2k to snag the casual fans, which seems to be crew people. That would probably sell them some extra copies. They stated that they were gonna focus on things that 'other basketball games' don't do well. Having a good and deep online mode would be a great way. However I don't think they will sell that many more copies.

Seeing that live seems to be a download title this year I doubt they will have anything as deep as a my player or similar mode.

We're just wishful thiinking.... We know there's no Crew Mode in Live... That's just the alternative ..... Since it's not in 2k... We say.... "Dang, I wonder/hope Live has it...." Knowing dang well they don't .....

wrong. crew isnt for a small number of fans. dont let anything 2k tells you make you believe that nonsense. just because YOU personally may not care for it. doesnt mean there isnt a LARGE group of people that not only play the game for crew but also for other modes as well, that dont fall into the "casual" gamer group.

the truth is, crew mode played the most REALISTIC out of any mode. minus the guys making the fake 10 footers or 1 foot guys, .

even if you boost your guy up to 99 overall everything. he still would miss shots, he still would lose the ball. he could still get his pocket picked. he could still get blocked. etc, etc, etc. i know this because i've played with all kinds of crew my players. legit 99's, legit 73's, fake 99's, giants, etc.

i've used them all. played with them all.. play against them all. beat all types of guys, lost to all types. and have teammates with all types of my players in my crews.

Crew was the goto mode once you realize franchise mode wasnt that great. Crew was the goto mode once you were done maxing out your my player or if you just wanted to see if what you were doing to the CPU would work on HUMANS.

see thats the part that a lot of these so call SIM guys dont want to talk about. see there is a part of sim while being a user and not relying on cpu defenders to cover for you. thats really realistic.

everybody i played with on crew mode played at MINimum high school organized ball now, or in the past. some of the guys played some college ball and some, semi pro hoop. they also admitted minus the giants. it was the most realistic mode in the game. ESPECIALLY when you end up on a team like ours that played REAL basketball. we ran plays, set off ball screens. ran our own zones, etc.

most of the people that feel like crew is for the casual gamers are people who got into it late when all the shady guys had their 10 foot kanye west guys and it turned into a freak show. lol. so thats what a lot of you remember. you never had the chance of playing with a team full of guys who KNEW how to actually play the sport properly and did do so on your team.

team up could be good. but the problem there is, no one wants to be the Center or PF for most teams because most teams have really bad centers or pf's. and you will never get the ball since your guy sucks so bad he doesnt deserve it. even in real life most of those bigs dont touch it. i mean who really wants to play with J. anthony from the heat?

but its a different story when you create your own big from scratch, learn how to play with him. so you know what he's good at and what he isnt good at.

Dude, you backed yourself into a logical corner. You say Crew plays more realistic, but Team Up doesn't? Team Up uses actual NBA teams. That's as real as it gets. Joel Anthony is on the court for a reason and if that reason isn't reflexes in Crews, then it utter fails the realism test. Big men DO see the ball. They are normally the guys helping to change the possession with interior defense and rebounding and moving the ball. So if people playing REAL basketball aren't finding a use for big men rated 70 or so, then they are not playing pro level ball. For the record, the cheaters were out there very early in the life of the game...

Haha woww...talk about ruining your own argument. None of the other modes you call "unrealistic" have 10 foot or 1 foot guys. They have real players. How can it be the most realistic mode when you yourself pointed out it has the most unrealistic thing possible in the game.
