Re: NBA Live 13 Canceled
This IS sad news. It's sad for the folks that hoped to see another quality title being available.Comment

Re: NBA Live 13 Has Been Canned
Competition for the sake of competition doesn't benefit anyone...at all...especially when one company has proven they can put out quality games without it, and one to this day still can't...
It's all about quality...people don't laugh at things worth caring about..Last edited by jersez; 09-27-2012, 05:45 PM.ARE YOU LOOKING FOR YOUTUBE CHANNELS DEDICATED TO THE SIM COMMUNITY CLICK THE LINKS BELOW, AND SUBSCRIBE FOR ALL SIM CONTENT.

Re: NBA Live 13 Has Been Canned
No, I don't think so. 70 is alot for a team that has just been assembled together with most of them not knowing the game engine or where the direction of the game is going. EAC sent probably one or two guys to tiburon..which is not really not doing much. How many of those people would you say are experience in game design? sports design? we don't know the specifics. EA said it themselves that they are bringing in more people to revamp the series to hit the ground running. They threw that number out there. Had they continued with the regular staff, I think it would have been a much better product. A small team, 2-3 years would have gave them live 13..vs hiring 70 people and starting in 2012 to create live 13..Last edited by yungflo; 09-27-2012, 05:48 PM.#dairyfreeComment

Right. Because they got plenty of money in order to get over this. But this leaves the question why a company, that rich and wealthy, remains unable to produce one single game in two years. Other smaller or poorer companies have good reason to fail here and there. But in the case of EA it's just inexplicable and also inexcusable...Comment

Your point about no direction and experience is 100% valid.Comment

Re: NBA Live 13 Has Been Canned
Could you imagine if EA was our only option and we were stuck with Live 10 after all these years? Thank God for 2k Sports and their willingness to listen to the fans and adapt and admit when they've made mistakes. They aren't perfect, but they are damn near close.Comment

Not on one year development they can't. Multiple year development, yeah.#dairyfreeComment
