Piss'n Me Off Bad...

Guys I really need help. I've been playing live 2004 since it's 2nd day on the shelf. I've been trying to deal with the fact that the cpu teams won't shoot midrange shots, I tried a number of things and nothing seems to work. how can I force the cpu to take more midrange shots??? I've tried the slider threads, but they seem to confusing due to the fact that there are so many, so I went with Pared's sliders, The cpu still tends to drive to the basket leaving me at it's mercy... What do I do... I love the versitlity of this game, but feel like I'm missing somthing more. And the offensive rebounding(HA!!!) I just can't get my share so can someone "PLEASE" help me

Trade it in and buy Inside Drive 2004. I too have had NBA Live 04 for a while. The game is fun, don't get me wrong...but if you want a true sim. Fork out the cash for Inside Drive 04

im about to do the same, i had NBA Live 04 since the first day it came out, great game but i found myself going back to inside drive, the game is just so much more fun for me.

I had Live and ESPN and they are both okay games, but I didn't think anything was special about either of them. I bought Inside Drive and the game is so much better it is unbelieveable. ESPN the guys didn't move much and there were few plays. The graphics were great on ESPN and 24/7 was a blast but the gameplay just draw me in.

As for Live, it was okay, the 10-man motion capture was a good touch (more useful for a college game though). The graphics weren't bad, but the court seemed to small. Gameplay was okay but not great.

When I played ID for the first time, I played against the Bucks and they were popping threes all day. I then played against the Raptors and they would run the isolation play for Carter more than 50% of the time. The realism is incredible. Couple downfalls with ID would be the rosters, and the fact the there really isn't anything extra. I did enjoy the 24/7 mode of ESPN. I wish ID had something like that, but I am more than happy with ID's gameplay.

Damn you guys are crazy IMO, I think NBAlive04 for the PC is the best basketball ever, I love this game. I played ID04 and I really didnt like it at all. Don't say that NbaLIve04 is not a sim cause your wrong, If you have the right sliders and settings this game is one of the best sim sports game out there. I think LIVE is really a great game, ID is a good game, but there are plenty things wrong with ID that make not fun at all.

Listen guys I really thank you for the input, but I don't want to purchase another Nba title...
the only thing I want to do is at least adjust the sliders alittle, something minor. If somebody out there figured it out please let me know what to do. A few midrange shots and a few offensive rebounds never hurt.
