I've been playing MM a lot lately and it's a good effort. A lot of fun. Just picked up Live 2004 and I must say WOW. I wish EA put this much effort into MM. Live is so much smoother and more polished. The force field (rubber band) effect is a lot less evident and players seem to move a lot freer. I know offensive rebounds and bunching are common problems affecting these two titles but they aren't nearly as bad in Live. I'm actually not having problems with O rebs in Live and the courts seem bigger in Live so spacing seems better. You can really tell where the money went between these two titles. I hope next year MM inherits the freer feeling and larger court feel of Live. I use the Broadcast cammera and it seems better in Live as well even though you can't adjust zoom like MM. I think it goes back to the bigger feeling courts. I almost wish I didn't play this game now because I'm much more of a college fan, unfortunately Live is a much cleaner experience.

Yeah, I just dusted off Live '04 recently, and I'm falling in love with it again. After playing A LOT of ESPN College Hoops, I decided to go for a little change of pace, and put in a faster, more exciting game of Live. Let me tell you, I wasn't disappointed.Comment
