I said that when I mentioned EA's NCAA basketball, in my initial post. Wasn't claiming that 2k invented the system. I just stated that 2k has this feature also. IF they are hyping up BOunce TECH it better be really different.
Havent played an EA NBA game since 03. NCAA basketball was the last EA basketball game I owned.
anyways, I need to see more of this Bounce Tech.
Another thing is, I hope ratings matter in this bounce tech, being able to switch hands etc.. hopefully each hand will have its own tendency/ rating,
      competition is good.

btw, ea is doing exactly what I suggested in a few threads on this board. don't reveal nothin''! just drop a good game and fans will comeback.

They are pretty much spot on. Much better than what 2K has been giving us and pretty close to accurate. Rubio is skinny as hell.

i went to E3 and played Live for PS4...i also spoke to the devs (scott o'gallehor) i know i butchered his name lol... he created the dribbling system and was explaining to me how it all worked. I noticed that kyrie felt like he had a weight to him when he moved. everytime i was traveling in a certain direction and stopped he felt like he planted before shifting his weight in another direction, which was good. I asked them if this was how you get by defenders, by getting them off balance and attacking from angles they can't react to, and they said that was what they were going for with the system.

The player model for kyrie was pretty cool. I felt like the ball was really small, which I mentioned to the devs. The court seemed spot on, they had some cool looking made baskets (off the back of the rim, etc) but I will admit the net physics did look a little weird at times, which of course is to be expected at this stage.
I asked about the jersey texture, and someone from the art team came over and zoomed in on kyrie's jersey and it looked great up close. He also mentioned that they had jersey animations to reflect real life sway and overall movement.
I asked about custom shoes and customization in general and was given a pretty broad answer so im thinking that this will be lean..i did suggest that they make every shoe in the game have customizable layers to tailor to any team rather than having set shoes with specific colorways as live has been know for in the past.

I didnt like how kyrie seemed hunched over and a little too lean as far as his player model. But the overall look and feel of the game was much better than even the CGI trailer shown. Im curious as to why they didnt just use the actual game even if it were just kyrie in the trailer.
I dont know why, but madden 25 was on Xbox One and nba live was on PS4...I thought EA was all in with Microsoft but I guess not...maybe live is being developed for PS4 first then ported over?not sure but I definitely noticed that.

I started playing EA basketball games when it was Lakers vs Celtics and The NBA Playoffs. I stopped @ NBA Live 10. It was sad to see the series decline over the past decade and I hope NBA Live makes a strong comeback. EA has had a long time to right this ship, so if NBA Live 14 fails they may as well stay away for good.
P.S. I think it's time to bring back NBA Street.

                            - Aimed at JR Smith, who had directed some choice words at Bryant during a 2008 Lakers-Nuggets playoff game. Kobe finished with 49 points and 10 assists.

NBA Street should come back after/IF they successfully release this game.
