I played Live 09 and 10. I'm not saying they were phenomenal by any means, but the AI wasn't bad.Comment

Man, what's so hard about giving an opinion about the screenshot? I mean, seriously, all dudes need to say is how they think it looks, with a little discussion-generating stuff added along.
In reality, the little backdoor shots are unnecessary. Doesn't mean it's necessarily untrue, but dudes saying what does and doesn't matter, and what they NEED and DON'T NEED to show doesn't really do anything but clutter threads and get people off-topic... Prime example being right here.
(And honestly, it's not necessary for dudes to speak for everyone just to get a point or opinion across. Don't say what "we" want or what they need to show "us" because we all value games for different reasons - that's another source of all the bickering, dudes don't realize that and seem to think if you don't like or see what they like or see, you're a lunatic.)...Comment

Seems like some people need to re adjust the aluminum foil hat around here. Conspiracy theory. I think some are scared that Live might actually make a comeback.
Probably get virtually attack if i used the word patience around here.
All in all, we need Live to make some type of comeback. The other game(offline/association) has gotten stale for some(me) and competition will hopefully help.
Screenshot looked good.Comment

Re: NBA Live 14 Release Date Set For November 19th, New Gameplay Screenshot Included
That being said... the screenshot looks REALLY good to me. It's not really photorealistic - you can definitely tell it's a video game - but it still looks crisp and clean, and it looks like a next-generation game graphically.
PROS:
- Lighting - Lighting looks good on the player models and clothing.
- Accessories - What stuck out to me was the fact that Irving's accessories were white, as home teams typically are. Along with another screen showing him with gold, I think we'll have "correct" accessory colors. (Also, looking at Andrew Bynum's right leg, it looks like we can layer accessories - looks like a knee wrap, calf bands, and medium socks.) [I'm excited to see how D. Rose looks in-game
]
- Shoes - probably the best thing about the screen, honestly, other than Lillard's release looking accurate (which is expected). I'm liking that these guys don't have generics - hopefully EA at least assigns the newest "team" shoe to guys without specific ones. Also, they have their own shoe "model" or shape - which you can tell by looking at each one. And they're really detailed and clean.
CONS
- Player Models - my only "quirk" is that the models - AT LEAST, Lillard - upper body looks sort of disproportionate to his legs/lower body. I could understand if Lillard had insane shoulders and what not, but combined with the way the jersey fits towards the waist, it looks like he has a wide body with skinny legs. The other models looks way better, especially Irving - much more even.
- Cloth - They just look sort-of stiff. Not a big deal at all, and I'd expect it to move in-game, but it just looks stiff. If the shorts don't move like a dress though, I won't mind.
- Crowd - this may be a little misguided on my part, but the crowd is looking in the other direction lol. I just sort of expected with next-gen and the Ignite engine, that the crowd would have more awareness. Also not seeing too many people with team apparel, but it's too blurry to say that's definite.

Looks good. But Live looked good most of the time in screenshots (and many times based some marketing on that).
Waiting for the gameplay video. Although the phrase "100% actual gameplay" worries me. Why would they even need to say this? Are we supposed to doubt that what they'll show is 100% gameplay? Is it THAT good, or maybe there's another reason for doubt? We'll see...
I just hope it's a 5-minutes plus of gameplay - unedited. Don't want to see highlights.Comment
