Oh let me add, I can care less what they sell, and honestly think they will outsell 2k. As long as the game is 7.5 or better. And releases of course. But I know cats will run wit the 50k sales thing. -

Outsell 2K? Yeah I think you may have taken something and don't realize it there. They'll definitely sell some copies, but going from three straight cancelled games due to garbageness to outselling the king of the hill? People aren't that stupid I don't think.Comment

Re: NBA Live 14 Trailer - First Look (Screen Captures Included)
uh...Live is only a next gen game so how exactly will this outsell 2k when 2k has PC/current gen and next gen. Plus not many will make the jump to next gen...if anything current gen console will probably outsell next gen. I highly doub people will go to next gen just for Live lolComment

No I'm not high. Dude. Lol. If 50 k ppl buy live. That's 50k x 60$ Thas a lot of gwapo cappo. Be real. Competition means a winner emerges, but also means they share the wealth. Live will debut DUDE. So I'm not sure what you mean.
The history if them failing to deliver is three years, honestly that's all behind monetarily, because their about to release now.Comment

Re: NBA Live 14 Trailer - First Look (Screen Captures Included)
No offense, but i would totally applaud this post if it wasn't so full of hypocrisy. I agree with what you're saying. I truly do. But, by every measure, you flip your mindset when it comes to the other game. Just saying. The bottom line is that even if you forget the history of empty promises, you have very little to no tangible evidence that ANY of their promises going forward can or will be kept.

EDIT: As far as evidence goes, I think the Ignite engine is looking sharp for EA's other sports game, so I assume that should help out Live a lot. Not to mention the bouncetek reviews have been 95% positive, and this is coming from real people playing the game, not all paid website reviewers. Even our own trusted OS gave the system positive reviews. That's evidence enough, along with the various articles, screenshots, interviews, and trailers.Last edited by NoTiCe_O; 09-20-2013, 01:45 PM.Twitter - @OtistheOriginalComment

Lol now you're just trolling or something, I don't know. Because not once have I even flipped my mindset about 2k. They say real recognize real, and I'm just telling it like it is. Could it possibly be that there is a human being in this world that can enjoy two different basketball games and not have to compare them like a child, but see the potential in both? *Gasp* I'm speaking on potential that's all, what the game could be.

Seriously I don't know what these haters want. Using every post to say the same crap over and over for the past 3 years is just enough already. If you didn't like live before you most likely won't like it now. Ea and we aren't here to make your game better or get ridiculed and questioned like your opinions matter more because you like the other game. Go to the 2k boards.
It's funny how these people don't mention the vast improvements in foot planting which is something they griped on for years.
Now it's oh you have to dribble too much to get around people and why isn't he smiling when going for a layup...Last edited by Sirs; 09-20-2013, 03:43 PM.Comment

Re: NBA Live 14 Trailer - First Look (Screen Captures Included)
I agree with you bro 100%. Its sad that people can't recognize that the issues EA is trying to fix still exist in every b-ball game to date. We don't expect it to be perfect but at lease somebody is trying. Im all for a more realistic experience no matter witch company brings it and so far it EA and can't nothing anybody say change my mind period.
.. I also disagree about being close minded. This company has something to prove. All of this hogwash about casual and hardcore fans, and looking into the future means nothing at all until they first get a freaking game out the door.
Secondly, Im sorry but the use of the term close minded is off here. As I mentioned about dribbling, theyve been talking about that for months on end now. People are past that but yet it seems to be the only thing that keeps coming up. If they want to sell this game they're going to have to sell it on other things besides dribbling.
Eventually all of the comparisons on the overall gameplay are going to come to light. They can splice up video and hide wonky animations in their trailers up the ying yang, but all it takes is that one person to expose the right issue to give them major problems again in people's minds. ala boozer jumping from the ft line, or some ridiculous glitch and the trust factor is all of sudden broken again.
I don't think EA needs a defense, they need to bust their buts to prove this game belongs out there with the other companies, not that we should feel lucky they have something out there...thats a bunch of bull. Its nex gen, we don't need excuses anymore.Comment

EA can change peoples minds but they have failed to put out a game to even put a foot in the door.

We don't need to be reminded about EA past every time something Live get brought up, its annoying to most but I know how to ignore. When will people let go and just let the new team prove themselves?Last edited by Jay Jay; 09-20-2013, 06:12 PM.Comment

Re: NBA Live 14 Trailer - First Look (Screen Captures Included)
What just baffles me is that we have yet to see any actual gameplay footage of pretty much all next gen sports games, with the exception of FIFA.
I mean, these games will be launched in less than two months, give us some freaking footage, and i mean actual gameplay footage, how we actualy play our games.Comment

I'm hoping that they need more polish and real marketing is yet to start.Comment
