Really? I'm all for this game and I will be getting it at Launch of my Xbox One....

But are you telling me you don't have a problem with these models..

I understand the EA is claiming to have different artist for graphics but I see a lot of similarities and also the same super long forearms that have plagued Live series since 06.

Makes no sense to have this still going into Next Gen, we got to get body parts right and sizes right.

What exactly is your beef with them Shadows? Lillard's left forearm does look a tad odd, but that could totally be the angle. The skin textures aren't going to satisfy everyone, but those are by far the most accurate representations of those two players I've seen to date. But that's just my opinion. To each his own, right?

Just have to wait 2 more weeks to see the next gameplay trailer..But I have a feeling they just took one long trailer and broke it up into pieces. B/c at the end of the trailer it says to be continued. So I'm guessing the next trailer will leave off where this one ended. I guess we find out if he made the layup.

The monkey is off their back when they prove themselves. Not before.
I'll take this further. The new team hasn't done a basketball game before. The new team is working with the same codebase that failed. The new team is lead by a former player that hasn't shipped at game. I'm sorry, but these are NOT favorable conditions for success. My hypocrisy comments are born out of people that say you can ignore the past of one game, but not the other game. Then there are those that want competition as long as it means it keeping an EA title alive. What do they care of titles like PES and NHL 2K? Zero. But if its Live or Triple Play, sign them up! I just think it is funny.

Yeah they should've added tech that scanned the player's physique to the budget. Worth it imo since the one's they have now are weak.

live 14 has the same skin texture of live 13 and possible previously released lives with updated lighting, as i said previous.... I keep mentioning the fact that Peter Moore said that they need 2 more yrs to complete this game.... but yet live forerunners keep thinking this game has been COMPLETELY REDONE... not so... dribbling (bounctek), nba stat data, and can't remember the last thing there always taking about seems to be what the Live devs focused on this yr, i wouldn't expect much else to have been touched.... judging from the trailer released, i still see that the lag and some stiffness is presence, so for me those videos they release show-casing the no ball warp and physic rendering means nothin when it performs different in-game (which is the area that killed elite 11 and live 13) EA problems seems to come when putting all these 'so called innovative features into a 5- on- 5 basketball, thats where is all seems to fall apart... I hope they finally figured it out, but judging from the trailer, i think some of those major issues that killed elite 11 and live 13 are still present... If they totally rebuilt the engine from the ground up for next gen, then why are these issues still present... I personally believe they might have built a new code, but still took parts of current gen tech that they had, tried to revamp it and rename it... thus giving us what we see today... a new coat of paint, but the same old car (just my personal opinion until I see 5- on -5)

New images aren't impressive. A lot can be fixed just by making their heads a tiny bit bigger and necks shorter, or at least rigged so they look more craned forward.

Lighting on skin is overdone-- too harsh, cartoony, and plasticky-- but very well done on the clothing.

And Lillard's left hand is a disaster.

                        Huh? The Executive Producer:

"I have quite a history with EA SPORTS basketball games over the last decade. I worked on a number of NBA and NCAA basketball games at EA SPORTS before leaving in 2010 to pursue another opportunity after being the senior producer on NBA LIVE 10, our highest rated gen-3 basketball game. When approached last fall about bringing back this great franchise, I had mixed emotions. Due to my passion and love for NBA LIVE and my desire to deliver a new legacy for the franchise, I decided to listen."

                        And:

"Ryan Santos is a Senior Designer on NBA Live 14 and has previously worked on NBA Live between 2000 and 2005. In addition, he worked on NBA Street Volume 3, NBA Street Homecourt and NBA Live 2010 while most recently working on digital Jordan Campaigns before rejoining the team at EA for this project."

I am talking about the team as a whole. And you know this. But I'm sure you knew that. The team has little experience, but you can convince yourself otherwise if you choose. The engineers, artists, and designers.

You made it sound like they've never worked on a basketball game before. Little experience? Did you read what I just posted? The principal people working on the game have lots of experience combined with EA's already proven technology.

And since they are ONLY working on next-gen they are definitely getting more experience on that platform than 2K can.

Proven technology? There a working EA Sports basketball game from the last four years with the stuff they're using now we don't know about?

Seriously what is with this delusion that somehow Live has the edge on next generation over 2k, where is your source within EA and 2k. Some of you have to get it through your heads that Live has not had the edge on 2k for 7 years and while 2k has been refining their gameplay and learning from current gen Live has not been seen since 2010-2011. Both companies released trailers, 2k at E3 months ago and Live recently and still the 2k game trailer showed me alot more evolution from current gen to next, Live still has that out of proportion shinny bodies they always have, yes dribbling looked good, and they like to remind us how much they work on dribbling, but there is more to basketball than dribbling EA has alot to prove and that 50 Second spliced trailer did help those of the Fence.
