What system are you getting NBA Live 14 on? XBOX One or PS4?
I have a little bit of a dilemma. I have both the X One and PS4 pre-ordered and paid for. Yes I am a die hard gamer and am getting both at launch. I am definitely getting this game. It is my most anticipated next gen game basically because lets face it....its been a while since we've actually had a choice. Now what I can't decide on is which system I want to get it on. Now the easy answer is PS4 simply because I can get my hands on it 3 days earlier and I love the controller. However, I have a sneaky suspicion that this game maybe slightly better on XBOX One....due to this "partnership" with MS. Whether it be graphically or feature wise I dont know just a hunch. Also...there have been hints of NBA Live possibly having custom soundtracks which wouldn't even be possible on PS4 due to SONY confirming that the PS4 will not play CDs MP3s or stream music. So now i'm leaning towards that extra three day wait and grabbing the XBOX One version. Which system are you getting Live 14 on and why?59XBOX One0%20PS40%39The poll is expired.

Well if i get it then it would be for the PS4 i don't see it being much different on either console if anything PS4 with the more powerful hardware would get the edge which would not surprise me after what happened with COD.
The plus side to Xbox 1 i guess is you can see some gameplays and reviews on youtube before you decide if you really feel 60 dollars is worth spending on it.
All comes down to how bad do you want it -

I'm rolling with all sports games on PS4. All other games, X1 excluding exclusives.Moderator

Like you, I am getting both systems. PS4 first of course because of the release date. So they beat MS to the punch there. HOWEVER, EA is CLEARLY positioning themselves in MS's corner. So I feel that the best versions of EA's games will be on that platform. Smart Glass example. Did you see the feature for Madden. Now, I'm NOT getting (at least not paying for) Madden. But the features are intriguing. If Live just shows me enough, I'll be getting it on the XBone. FIFA is possible, but I'm not a HUGE soccer fan.
Also: this may offend some folks - I don't care - but seeing over the years how Sony and other Japanese companies have pissed on the US when they've had the chance to, I'd support the US company if all things are equal. Do you think the PS4 would have the US release date that it does if the 360 wasn't such a success?Last edited by Boilerbuzz; 11-04-2013, 11:33 AM.Comment

I really doubt Sony cares about MS at this point they're beating them clearly
And you rather have worldwide better numbers then just in one countryComment

I think you would be dead wrong in saying Sony doesn't care about MS. Presales are one thing, but we have no idea what the final numbers will be. Rarely has 2 major consoles launched so close to each other. As for worldwide versus US, you DO realize that the US numbers are HUGE right? If you carry the US, you make pretty good money.Comment
