Just looking at some UT pics, is there chemistry in this mode? From what I see it's not which is a shame since it's one of the interesting points of FIFA UT, building a team with players that complement each other and work better than recollecting just the best players possible. Maybe for Live 15 they can add that and chemistry could improve by having players from the same team, from the same university, players that have played together in a previous team for example.

All great ideas, but unfortunately, there is no chemistry in Live's Ultimate Team.

The only thing that will affect a player's ratings is playing him out of position.

I wish the game included position change cards ala NHL 14. It stinks having to use an undersized guy like Chris Bosh at center just because that's where he plays on the Heat.

The lack of lineup flexibility is even more puzzling when you consider that most players in the game are already assigned a "secondary position" if you pull up their player card from the main roster screen.

First gold pack, I get Iverson and Harden. Second gold pack, I land LeBron.

I would be shocked now if they haven't actually adjusted the rare card percentages behind the scenes.

Either that, or completing the Miami Heat challenge earlier today must have given me greater odds of landing LeBron.

I am used to opening up gold packs and getting a ton of duplicates that you have to discard, or just a bunch of "rare" contracts. Today I had only 1 duplicate player pulled.

Well, there goes that luck...I opened three more gold premiums, and got Harden in the first pack - and that was it. The last two packs were especially bad, 4 contracts in each and dupes of some of the mediocre players I already had.

The EAsports level system seems messed up in my game, I keep getting messages saying I reached a certain level, when I already passed it. I got my pack for reaching level 1 after I hit level 3, and according to my feed I have hit level 2 twice now in the last 2 days, even though I'm at level 5.

It glitches out on me too, I was level 25 but it boosted me up to 29 so I was able to get my level 30 pack quite easily.

New throwback jerseys and fantasy challenges have been added today.

I counted 29 logos/jerseys and 9 challenges.

Unfortunately, only 1 challenge contains a card pack reward, but at least it's a gold pack.

I don't have this game but I play Madden and MUT a lot so I was wondering, is there any marketplace for Live's UT? I imagine it's because they didn't have the time to implement it but it would really make the mode even better if they had it. Did they say why there isn't one? Because it looks like it'd be fun like MUT but I can't picture playing mut without a marketplace system lol

There is no marketplace. I have not seen any explanation why it was left out.

NBA Live 14 is currently the only EA Sports game to have Ultimate Team without a marketplace.
