Looks like a new type of card pack called the "XL Gold Premium Pack" has been added to the store.

It costs 20,000 points and contains 35 items:

• 1 legend or star of the week player
• 15 gold players
• 12 non-player items
• 7 other players

They are really putting 2K14's My Team mode to shame with these card packs. Now they just need to increase the Ultimate Team item limit beyond 300.

don't even waste your coins on the xl pack. i did and it was a huge mistake! glad i was able to get back over 8,000 coins in the cards i discarded.

I just went to buy some nba live points and the screen just faded black, forcing me to quit the application. Weird.

Yeah, I got him last week, went with a basic gold pack and was shocked when he showed up. I have him at the point and Curry at the 2, pretty ridiculous lineup on its own right there.

Wow six new legends for old school Monday or should I say old school rivals. Bird vs magic, Russell vs wilt and Ewing vs Hakeem.

I was actually wishing I could buy one so I could maybe get one of the new legends but the packs are no longer available.

for me they sucked becuase I had all the players already. one pack I didn't even get a legend smh

I don't have many legends, only one actually, so any players would help my team out. On YouTube I saw videos were guys were getting iverson, kemp etc. so I thought they were pretty good. Guess you were just unlucky.

Yeah I just spent 10,000 too and got nothing. Been getting a lot of scrubs lately. The best player I've gotten recently is Ray Allen. After getting Kemp it's like my success has dropped down dramatically.

All they promised with those XL packs was one guaranteed legend or spotlight player. Though of course, it was still possible to get more than one, if you got lucky.

I'd rather be guaranteed a legend/spotlight player for 20,000 then spend 5,000 per pack and have to hope that I get one.

I say that because there was a stretch when this game first game out where I probably opened 20+ 5,000 packs without getting a single legend/spotlight card.
