So wait, are you guys saying that this doesnt happen on 2k14? Because in my experience, it definitely does happen on both games..

Can't speak for anyone else, but if I post in the Live forum, the majority of the time it's about Live...

When I see some nonsense in 2k, I don't say "oh it's cool, it happens in Live too"...doesn't help me or any one else..

Man its amazing how you keep making light of the ridiculousness of this game man. I understand you enjoy it but this game has some issues.

Unless Blakes dunks now have the explosive force of grenades, the ball tracking doesn't mean anything when guys are falling over like they just took damage in a war.

The ball tracking is ridiculous. He just looks at the ball hit him in the head and he doesn't even react to it. Preference or not its an unrealistic outcome that needs to be looked into. Paint cheese, non physics and overall there AI has some pretty brain dead moments in this game and that's not cool at all.

I've got an idea. How about you go back and read the initial comment I put on those videos. I didn't mention the Blake dunk period. I did mention BALL TRACKING.

Funny how I don't see nearly this type of reaction to other NBA games having WORSE issues than a ball hitting a guy in the head.

I find it pretty funny and ridiculous that the same guys that are posting the negative videos, are still playing the game. If I was having that bad of a time with a game, or that many issues, I'd probably stop playing it.

As 24th said above, this is the NBA Live thread and that's whats being discussed. Why you guys feel the need to keep bringing up 2k is beyond me.

This is visual evidence for guys claiming they dont see it, and something that needs to be seen to show it needs to be fixed.

You can't claim to not say anything about this stuff then on the other hand say why people aren't doing it on another side... what the heck is up with the taking sides stuff anyway?

BTW, I've had that video and more for quite some time and just didn't post it because as I see these kinds of videos being blown off anyway

Well, I don't know if any of that was directed at me...but it seems like it, so I will just say this:

I am still playing Live, I play every next gen game I bought on my $500 system lol...some games of Live are frustrating, some games I have fun....as for how "fun" it is...we have plenty of people here to tell us that as well...about how it's revolutionizing basketball gaming and what not... hey all that is great...

If I see something that needs improvement, I will say something, I may post a video since it's so easy to do now...especially if it's not something that hasn't been touched on..there was a poster a few days ago who said he decided to stop posting since his experience has gotten worse...for what? That's crazy to me. It's funny bringing up reactions to other games...because there are definitely people here with 2k lowlight reels, but have the premium edition of Live and haven't seen a flaw as of yet...

If the forum is supposed to be limited to "tired of the other game, just having so much fun with Live" impressions...then so be it...but I am just honestly giving feedback...if that comes off as overly critical..my bad, but I just want a better Live 14 and even better 15 like everyone else...I'm not going to throw in a token "it's not perfect" in my post and be done..just not me...I can't tell you how many people have PMed me asking for honest feedback and at the end of the day I encouraged every single one of them to check the game out..

I could care less if you all have a problem with the game, or you love the game. But when I make a comment on something I like, I shouldn't be told that what I like doesn't mean crap because you all aren't happy with another aspect of the game.

If you all want to help, try this. Post this type of stuff in the bugs & glitches thread. I'm sure the devs aren't scouring the video thread looking at the awesome videos that we're putting together, patting themselves on the back.

Again, this is the video thread. I commented on a single video as something I appreciate. Again, my opinion. Last I checked, I still had one and could voice it without being told I'm wrong.

Enjoying the game as well. I'm not uploading for or against Live, but I still want to share positive or negative experiences with it. The Knight video was funny to me, I thought it was cool that his eyes and face tracked the ball, I liked how he was able to steal it after as well.

To 23, don't underestimate the slow-mo you can get in Live replays, that was the slowest it could go. In real life I would expect the same thing to happen. Sorry I didn't capture a real-time zoomed out video for analysis, just thought it was funny.

I was going to say the same. I've got one that hits a guys fist, and the ball reacts accordingly, hits a guys head off of a ricocheted miss, and flys out of bounds. It looks great in game. Slowed down like that, you wonder. I can't count how many times guys get hit in the head/face in a real bball game. It doesn't happen often to me in Live, but when it does, it makes sense. Not like a guy is just standing their waiting to be nailed in the face.

I love the ball tracking and facial expression though. That was my comment originally

Jaos... its all good. Definitely a Shaq-tin a fool moment! Actually sometimes It's kinda cool to see what led up to certain events, how a play came out to that conclusion, how a guy got through the lane for a dunk, how a guy got around a screen for a sweet jumper, etc...

Wrong? I don't know about that...but I do think its easier for you to see something here and dimiss it where you can't tolerate it elsewhere. You posted a funky warping video earlier, but you don't even mention anything about the ones here. Its fine, these are just things that we mentioned awhile ago that was dismissed as i dont see it or whatever the case by whomever, because its been said quite a bit.

If I play I play because its a game that's out there. I've had several discussions with my brother on this game who got it during the B2G1 sale, and once he couldn't take it anymore he let me borrow it so I could also give him another perspective from playing and seeing myself as well. If I have something to say at least im informed and know what im talking about and not just ranting on hatred and absolutely looking at the differences from the past that may or may not have been fixed over these past years.

Its a video thread, im commenting on videos and posting them the same as everyone else, whether its favorable or not, doesn't matter to me. Most of them I don't spend too much time on anyway.

BTW some of what I have aren't bugs, its just lack of physics or just silly stuff like the CPU blocking the ball with the back of their hands.. old legacy stuff im sure they combed over in the 3 or 4 years they were absent... The mechanic is just screwed.

That was one of my first experiences with the game though...unfortunately. Called it the "Mikey" glitch because a high school teammate used to do that.


Jury is out on the usage of face vs ball in this one. You guys decide (I was dead playing/watching/editing this)

im cracking up over that first one lol. its both positive and negative. positive because the ball doesnt just morph through him which is something thats been a problem in bball games for years. negative because he doesnt react to the ball coming at him or even flinch after it hits him.

i liked the second clip in general. not exactly the best shot selections from the offense (cpu or user?) but again it was nice to see that there was no cheese allowing the ball to morph through the well-timed blocks.
