So yes it was a lie.

AJ, I appreciate your time in the forums. I guess I would like to know what kind of a time table we're dealing with for the updates that was mentioned by O'Gallagher? (I.e. animations and graphics)

Are we looking at weeks or months (towards All Star break) ?

I can't legally give you a specific time table other than what was mentioned in the letter from Sean, but I can assure you that the letter is not something we aren't taking seriously. The dev team are actively pursuing solutions to issues brought to our attention. I know that's probably not as much detail as you want, but it's all I can say right now.

Where I CAN help is by compiling a list of specific feedback for the team. This thread is actually pretty quiet, so let's get that going: http://www.operationsports.com/forum...es-thread.html

            Thanks for your patience guys.

There have been updates, but when you still haven't added a trade nearly a week after it took place, you have to wonder...

Especially given your decision to exclude an option for us to make our own trades and edits (bar the Dynasty mode).

This is not badgering by the way, it's someone who has given you money for EVERY Live game ever released and feeling like I've been cheated and laughed at.

As disappointed as I am in regards to Live 14, gotta say I appreciate AJ/EA jumping in and letting us know they are watching/gathering/listening in on our concerns
I'm not banking on anything but I do applaud the efforts

A bit contradicting. You're not expecting anything to come from it, so why is it worth applauding?

Look, I don't want to seem too harsh but after such a long break and so many hyped promises and features, anyone who bought this game has been kicked in the guts and deserves to be angry and ask for answers accordingly.

The writing was on the wall about this game. Hardly any gameplay vids before launch. All the threads/post in regards to why nothing was being shown and the silence by EA? How could you not have known that something might not be right?

To be honest the way some carry on when a developer shows up on the forum I wouldn't even bother. That's just me

I totally agree with you. I will do whatever I can to get sound feedback to EA. The problem is will they listen this time. Surveying and watching this forum is not enough because the state of this franchise needs constant feedback with their fans and supporters. I want you guys to bring your absolute best effort so this game can survive. A.J. please inform Sean and Scott that they should come and visit this board when they have time in their busy schedules.

Please tone down blocked shots. Jeremy Lin is just as intimidating as Dwight Howard.

I feel sorry for these guys. If they could have done better they would. 2k is just too far ahead. Good luck improving the game but it was patently obvious that a lack of any pre release gameplay told you all you needed to know.

To quote some of the pre-release info we were fed:

we are able to update content on a daily basis. So a guy changes his hairstyle, breaks his nose, wears a mask, new footwear drops - we're able to update that stuff on a daily basis
updating minute content on a daily basis is painless
What's really cool is it's basically silent. You turn the game on, you'll have your updated stuff
EA will constantly check for roster updates
"I can go through and play every single game that the Knicks played, for example, in this playoff series, all the way down to the statistics, the way the players played that game, everything is accurate to that game. Then once the season starts this year you'll be moving along with them in lockstep
All this stuff's updated every single day
Players perform more like their real-life counterparts than ever before, informed by 70+ stats and tendencies, updated not monthly, weekly or daily, but within 1-hr of every NBA game

                              My point stands.

I can't disagree with what they promised but when no pre-release gameplay video where being shown the red flags started going up.

Several OS Vets including myself made numerous post in regards to this. Several people got the game early and talked about how bad they felt it was. There was a demo that you could have played before purchasing

I get your frustration about what was promised by EA because it's almost like they scammed some into making a purchase. No way was I gonna buy this game blindly especially with EA's previous track record with regards to basketball
