I'd say it'll be a little while before we see anything on this. If we see something by Christmas I'd be surprised. Hopefully I'm wrong, but I think it's going to take a little longer to see fixes in animations and graphics. They may be able to slide some gameplay fixes in through roster updates, etc. But everything else is a bit more substantial.

According to what i read, there so should be a bunch of them, even enhancing graphics.

I'm thinking by all star break.I see them doing more than just patching it. Maybe one another free dlc game mode added in as an apology to the consumers. if the meta critic gets worse and sales ar abyssmal, then I see them going back on their word and not supporting this game and focusing efforts on live 15 or another projects. it would make sense too.

Yeah but the hype put into this game, if they have poor sales and dont try to fix 14, im sure this developement team wont get a chance at nba live 15.......

Dev team is not the sales team. Apparently, the dev team thinks they can repair through patches. I don't think you can. You can fix some things but not the fundamental things wrong with the game. I think if it undersold like MOH did, then they will just begin focusing on the next game. They'll take the loss and begin working on nba live 15. It only makes sense to, especially if sales don't pick, which I don't think they were.

I don't really look too much into metacritic scores, but when its that low, there's no coming back from that. The first impression is live is not a great game. its a terrible game, I don't think there's much fixing to do in a game thats rated 47 among the industry. EA knows this too. At most, expect one patch. I hear they haven't even upgraded gear or up to date things they say that were going to be in the game. Is this true? I don't know. I don't have it.

If that's true, then they are already cutting costs. This game will get maybe one patch, before they move on to live 15 or just f it. Lets move on to live 15. Why work so hard to fix a broken game that probably less than 1 percent of the marketshare actually owns? 2k14 will probably sell 3mil on current gen(ps4/xbo) live won't sell even 1 million. Most people will forget how terrible live 14 is, if live 15 is good.

I actually think you have it reversed.

I'm sorry to those that have spent the money, but if they are taking serious time to develop a patch, I rather ea stop and make live 15. What's going to be the excuse if live 15 is bad? Oh, our dev cycle was cut short? Either hire a bigger team, or just cut your losses and make live 15 as good as you can. Otherwise, if they do patch this game, even though it didn't sell and live 15 suffers because of that, then they need to fire the main suit in charge. Not of that department, but of all eas. Ea in general on next gen has released their games half finished. Someone is telling these guys, yo we have to meet a deadline, we have to put it out, knowing the game isn't done or ready for release. At least, live got some extra time, but not by much. They also didn't develop a team for live until a year ago, that tells you about the office

For guys that have the game, has anybody been noticing any graphical improvements lately? I've been looking at screenshots around the web and they seem to be getting better, or maybe it's just me...?

Saying stupid things like the graphics are being silently fixed and the demo being different now. Just, wow. I thought some of you were more intelligent than that. Seriously.

With all the negative press this game has received, if there were patches being added, EA would be plastering the news of it on any site that would listen.

Why do you feel the need to insult people for posting their opinions? That is just uncalled for. Secondly, I don't own the game, I was just asking a question, a simple confirmation would've sufficed rather than implying people are stupid.
