Re: NBA Live 14: The Little Things Thread
Strategy boys.... Strategy
Gameplan to beat the Heat was pack the paint, stay tight on Allen, deny Lebron, and let Wade shoot
It was awesome. Lebron got going in the 4th, but it was too little, too late. It was awesome seeing Lebron go to work in the post since he couldn't get it going elsewhere.
The game needs fouls. Other than that, I was pleasantly happy with how the game played out. I held them scoreless for 8 minutes, and JVG went on a tear ripping them a new one.Twitter - WTF_OS

Re: NBA Live 14: The Little Things Thread
Forgot to note, I love seeing a repost. In one of my games, Dirk got position in the paint, called for the ball, the pass came in from the wing. He started backing, couldn't get anywhere, so kicked it back out. Pushee the defense a little lower, reposted, calling for the ball again.
When he got the ball, I saw him:
Face up and shoot a jumper
Shoot a minihook
Spin baseline with a reverse layup
Spin towards the paint w a sweeping hook
Fade left, fade right
Face defender, step back fadeaway
You can't just guard the one move. You have to be ready to react to what he's doing.
First game in a while that I'm excited at work to get home and play.Twitter - WTF_OS

Re: NBA Live 14: The Little Things Thread
I love the footwork on this game when catching a pass in the front court.
I was playing a game last night vs the Bobcats in Charlotte and Mike Breen mentioned Larry Johnson, and Van Gundy when into this 3 minute spiel talking about how great of a player LJ was and the fact that he is happy that he got to coach him. It made me smile because LJ has always been one of my favorite players.PSN: duFFleBaG_rAn_

Re: NBA Live 14: The Little Things Thread
What a difference a day makes. Tried my same strategy against the Heat, but Wade got a few easy buckets off of fast breaks. Ended up 5/5 in the first quarter with 2 dunks, 2 midrange jumpers, a 3 pt fg and 2 FTs for 13 points. I'm down 8 after 1.

Re: NBA Live 14: The Little Things Thread
I love how fatigue is implemented into the game. When I start "riding" a hot player, 3-4 hard offensive possessions, you really start to feel it. I hit 3 from distance with McClemore earlier, 9 straight points, but he was also chasing Jamal Crawford on defense. After several fast paced possesions, went to launch another 3, and it just felt different. The ball hit the front of the rim, bounced over the glass and out of bounds. Both Crawford and McLemore were grabbing their knees . Awesome feeling. Had to give them a break.
Derrick Williams played a long 11 minute span trying to guard Griffin. By the end of the quarter, he was as slow as can be. Dude was exhausted.Twitter - WTF_OS

Re: NBA Live 14: The Little Things Thread
The cloth physics in this game are stellar. I love the way it reacts and doesn't clip nearly as often, or nearly as glitchy as other cloth physics. It's a nice subtle movement.
The eye tracking is also very well done. Seeing one of my guys peer over their shoulder to see if Lebron is trailing them for the chasedown block is awesome.
Yesterday I saw Santa Hats/attire on the cheerleaders for their routines.
The siren in Atlanta after a made bucket sounds eerily realistic. Having listened to sirens for most of my professional career, it's funny wanting to look outside to see if there's a Trooper driving by with lights and sirens on.
The chants and overall crowd reaction is really well done too. The more consecutive stops and scores that they get in a close game, the louder they get. Nothing more satisfying than quieting a ruckus crowd.Twitter - WTF_OS

Re: NBA Live 14: The Little Things Thread
Played my first Bulls dinasty game against the Heat, on pro, 12 min qtrs. Lost 99 - 93. Couldn't stop LeBron and DWade drives. LeBron hit something like 15 from 20 from the field for 35 points. D-Wade had 25 points.
I couldn't do anything with Luol Deng on offense, scored just 11 points with him. DRose scored 25 points.
PS: They need to change D-Rose FT routine. Just add his move of lift the ball behind his neck before the rest of the routine and it will be perfect.
I rised the fouls options all out to 100 and it helped to see more fouls in this game. But at the end of the game i think it was something like 8 or 9 fouls for each team, not good enough, especially if you consider how many times LeBron and Wade scored on drives and dunks.
The Heat scored around 70 points in the paint, too much. I scored around 50 i think.
Overall was a very fun game, decided in the last 2 minutes. Some fixes and this game will be really great. Looking foward to the next updates.Comment
