Pretty cool that Hornacek calls for the Morris to check in. I saw them walking to the scorers table, thought it'd be cool to see if the coach calls them in. Looked, and sure enough.

NBA Live 14: The Little Things Thread

I just watched a video of an all-star game and LeBron did a 360 dunk. Most likely did it because it was the all-star game. When I've played the all-star game, I've also seen that players tend to do more flashier things: passes,dunks etc. Cool little touches to make it feel more like the all-star game.

I wish Morris hadn't have gotten in the way. I couldn't adjust the camera but Duncan's eyes got HUGE complaining to the refs. Awesome.

This was pretty cool. I had seen it one other time, but didn't think anything of it. Ryan Anderson spun off, was met with several defenders, to clear space he led with his knee and then kicked out causing contact. Whistle blew, Charging call. Van Gundy mentioned something along the lines of "A player can't lead with his knee, it'll be a charge every time..." or something along those lines. I wish I knew when these little things were gonna happen, so I could capture it without having to go back and edit the last 15 minutes of footage or something.

At the very least against the Clippers and Lakers, if you take your PG and try to play full court D, the inbounder or a big will come up and set a pick for their PG after the 3rd or 4th time doing it.

So you can get away with playing 1v1 full court a couple times, then the game will adjust and try to pick you off.

Yep, I saw that in the demo, which made me really start to take notice of those types of things. I love it. Think it's excellent that their teammate AI is aware enough to do that. Games in the past would make you try to bump your way up court.

Never seen any game do this before.

So I played GSW @ MIA last night. I give the ball down to David lee in the post, mine AI ( miami) gave me so many different looks I spent the whole game going to the post!!! Lol

Example: lee gets ball low, Miami faked the double team forcing me to make a bad pass

Example: lee gets ball low, Miami would send a second defender to play "keeper" about 2 feet away from Lee, putting there hands up stop a cross court pass to steph or klay

Example: they would wait for lee to turn to face and start dribbling before any double help came.

The best part about this is I tried this with speights and bogut and everything was single coverage. So much fun but I lost by 30 lol( damn you lebron)

That's the stuff that's making me love the game more and more. I've never seen anything like it. People thought I was a lunatic early on, calling it hyperbole. The AI is legit in 95% of the time I play it. It constantly makes you think, and I love it.
